The moment Zion got hurt and was going to miss significant time to start, the season was a wash for them (for the FO/Coaches that is). It’s evident in how they’ve handled his minutes from when he returned until now.

Kawhi has been launching from deep today

I think it's more that, while they entered the bubble in a virtual tie for the play-in game, they were still the 11th seed. Losing the first game certainly didn't help, but they were a very long shot to begin with. Why risk an injury for Zion playing in essentially meaningless games? The NBA wanted the Pels in this thing, so the Pels were, like, okay, we'll just limit Zion because there's no chance we're making the playoffs.

They built the team on Mitchell and Bogdanovic being the offense and everybody else plays mostly defense, led by Gobert...Now they missing 20 pts a game and their only other options is Conley on the washed side of his career, no buckets Gobert or wildcard Big Clarkson off the bench...Yea they gon struggle more often than not
 
Tried watching that Nuggets game. Even with 3 starters out Malone still doesn’t have any idea what to do with MPJ :lol: the man was projected top 5 pick before the injuries and Malone has him standing in the corner every possession

Exactly what it was, the NBA arranged the number of teams to get Zion on TV for a few more games...The Pelicans know it’s a long shot and are looking forward to whenever the next season starts and Zion well rested/ 100% healthy ...No team really chasing the playoffs gon sit their best player or restrict him when he’a said he ready to go

Conley was at 16 and 5 and 5 on 45/44/84 splits for Feb and 16 and 5 and 3 on 47/46/82 splits for March

He had a really good game to start the Bubble

It's easy to target him because of how much he struggled to start the season but he was picking it up before the stoppage. I realize nobody likes watching Jazz games though lol
