Does any know if the NBA and ESPN/ABC are dropping a playoff song/intro for this year? I'm still trying to forgive them for what they put together in 2014 :smh:

Could be an additional statement opportunity if executed properly

Lil Baby's song is sitting right there.

Between Pitbull and that Saturday night prime time nonsense with those two clowns ESPN done made some questionable choices. Last few years have been solid with Cole and K. Dot.

I’ve been hearing Logic - Amen a lot during the broadcasts so it could be that

OK. But it’s kind of different when you’re player B v. the Player A that everyone games plans against.

Also, you mentioned the centers Shaq had to play against in the Finals to detract from what he accomplished individually as compared to Kobe. So, let’s look at the murder’s row of guards Kobe faced in the Finals:

Reggie Miller/Jalen Rose
Eric Snow/Aaron McKie
Kerry Kittles/RJ

I’m fine with you feeling Kobe is Top 5, but there’s no reason to detract from what Shaq did to make that point.

Black mamba jerseys the joints he wore on the slam cover?

No from the lore series

That, and the PERSONAL accomplishments just aren't on the same level as the top 5 guys..

Jordan- 5x MVP, 6x FMVP, 10x First Team All-NBA
Kareem- 6x MVP, 2x FMVP, 10x First Team All-NBA
Bron- 4x MVP, 3x FMVP, 12x First Team All-NBA
Magic- 3x MVP, 3x FMVP, 9x First Team All-NBA
Bird- 3x MVP, 2x FMVP, 9x First Team All-NBA

Kobe- 1 MVP, 2x FMVP, 11x First Team All-NBA

He's in the next tier with Duncan/Hakeem/Shaq.
Kobe under bird?!?!

Lmaooooooo foh

That argument never really made sense to me, you think teams weren't game planning how to stop Bean?

I didn't detract from what Shaq did. I just said Kobe did his damage in the West playoffs where all the real teams and competition was. Kobe was the best player every time they played the Spurs in the playoffs and they were about equal against the Kings.

Those averages are really close at least scoring even though Shaq put up 38, 33 and 36 ppg in the Finals which is why I mentioned him going off against those C, that's where he was able to do most of his damage.

2000 was really the only year where there was a big gap between the 2 of them.
