I agree and don't really care about the fees anymore but man you dudes brought up pogbas fee every chance you got last season and now wanna try and justify the fees.

Also, peps spending should be noted.. mans keep telling me how great city's academy is and then they turn around and spend 30-40 on a back up fb in danilo. Why not promote one of those kids? it's becoming apparent that pep's "track record" for developing youth is about as exaggerated as mourinhos "track record" of not trusting them.

Personally i've criticized other City fans before for hyping up our academy when its no reason to yet. I still think Pep is good with young players in general and I would love to see academy kids given a chance but if he and the others who see the youth train everyday since they have taken over and think they aren't ready I will trust their judgement people should temper their expectations with academy products.

Also It's a catch 22 if he takes the time to fully develop players from the academy we risk not competing for the level of trophies we should and then he would be criticized for not winning like we should be expecting to. He is in a place where he has to set up our squad for the future and compete to win now and I think he has done a good job at that with the players being brought in.

I have the same feeling. I think benching Ospina for the majority of last season really hurt the hot streak he was on and his confidence.

Fell like im losing the yang to my yin the joker to my batman. As stressful as he had been the past couple seasons gonna miss this winger trapped in a fullbacks body his first few years he did a good job at leftback often and he held it down as an emergency CB this past season.
