Two Moussa Dembele's. One plays for Spurs (he's Belgian) and one plays for Celtic (he's French). Then there is the Ousmane Dembele for BVB (he's French too).
Clearly I need to change my last name to Dembele apparently that's what's been holding me back from getting to the next level.

The next next Messi made his debut for Celtic's U20s, he's only 13
that vid isn't him playing against U20s just to be clear, but still dude has prodigious talent for his age. Apparently he's of Ivorian descent but I couldn't find more info than that. I'm interested in knowing exactly how dude wound up playing for Celtic, if his parents were immigrants and if it were for non-footballing reasons and he just happened to fall into their laps, or if they're actively scouting African youths that young.
Not too long ago on Reddit someone asked where the Dembele name comes from, I remember Mali was mentioned a bunch of times as the place of origin. But it borders the Ivory Coast so that makes sense as well. To how he got to Celtics is certainly interesting. I was trying to see if I could find anything about their scouting network. I came across this on their website.
There's always the possible that their charity foundation came across him.

He's got A LOT of the fundamentals down. I was thinking he'll just be dribbling past kids, but he has great vision, and is already passing at the right time. I really hope he gets in with the right academy, and the right situation for him to grow and perfect his God given talent.
What I really hope doesn't happen is this U20 story, or putting him in situations that can potentially stunt his growth and development...

I was really impressed watching that video. That turn at 1:50. The Barca player with the shoulder length blonde hair, I remember hearing that he was talented and saw a vid of him....but I was not expecting to see clips of Dembele working.
I wish this kid the best, I hope he flourishes. I thought of Adu while watching the clip as well. I hope it doesn't get to that. He could be making his pro debut in 3 years.

Speaking of kids, it's good to see Carles Alena practicing with the first team. It's been fun seeing him play with Barca B. Dude is a beast in midfield.

That's correct, lots of top EPL clubs and other clubs abroad where interested in him but he went to Celtics cause he wanted to be playing instead of sitting on the bench

I've been getting rumors from Twitter lately from the Barca sources that are "somewhat" reliable (but keeping in mind these are rumors); footballespana, beIN Sport, TotalBarca, BarcaStuff... I'll lend credence to Sport English & Marca English if the other sources post the same thing...
The Joao Cancelo, Aleix Vidal Swap rumor came from Sport & I also saw it from other sources.
