I've only heard about Gelson since this summer but a host of top clubs seem to be keeping tabs on him. Apparently Mou's also sent scouts to watch him a couple of times at Sporting so far this season.

Poor Los Che fans man,Lim blew up what looked like such a promising projet not long ago

The interesting factoid about Gelson is that Barca could've had him back in 2012... Sporting owed Barca €1mill for the transfer of Jeffren Suarez but they didn't have the dough so Barca accepted players... After reviewing their academy, Barca ended up with Narcis Julia, Edgar Ie & Agostinho Ca, neither of whom panned out... Gelson was there for the taking at the time... :rolleyes :{

Seems like Barca always has some kind of priority on all the promising young talent from Latin countries :lol :{

"I have no more dreams in football, only targets. The ranking of the teams where I have felt good? Nice, Manchester City and... that's it." - Mario Balotelli
I know it makes no sense at all but i want him back at City. Go prodigal son lead Ligue 1 in goals this season I believe in you.

:lol Ander was taken by surprise by his LA Roja call up. He was beginning holiday in Madrid with his family when he got the notice. He had to buy boots because he didn't have gear with him. Good luck young fella... :smokin

More on the young lad (10 years old) that Juan Mata stopped for at the player's entrance. Looks like Ibra, Eric Bailly, & others stopped to take a pic with him & chat a bit... :smokin

Lacazette coming for that *** when he's back, but Mario could realistically finish top 3 if he keeps it up, assuming Cavani keeps playing like a competent striker (big "if," I know). Wouldn't mind seeing Balo stake a claim at Nice for a couple years and really turn his form around. Hopefully some top teams would take a chance on him in a couple years.

The back story of this is a season ticket holder for 30 years fell ill on the morning of ticket pick up for the away game vs Hull City. He was promised the ticket would be sent to him but it wasn't & his son also a season ticket holder was not able to pick up the tickets on behalf of his dad.

So the club banned him due to violation of ticket rules for season ticket holders... So the long time ticket holder is banned from away matches for 12 months...

Way to go woodward, way to go... :{

I've been getting rumors from Twitter lately from the Barca sources that are "somewhat" reliable (but keeping in mind these are rumors); footballespana, beIN Sport, TotalBarca, BarcaStuff... I'll lend credence to Sport English & Marca English if the other sources post the same thing...

The Joao Cancelo, Aleix Vidal Swap rumor came from Sport & I also saw it from other sources.

Shoot, if that swap goes thru, Valencia must be resigned to the fact they will be relegated.
I know it's early in the season still, but i am surprised at how much of a nose dive Valencia took from a few years ago.

Agents are good for repping players, but when you listen to then on how to run a football club like Lim did with Mendes, Valencia becomes a cautionary tale on how not to do business. It doesn't help that you sell off your best players every so often (although Monchi does well at Sevilla), & it looks abundantly clear Lim has no idea what he's doing. The people he placed in key positions at the club (like Valencia cheif Chan Lay Hoon) have no idea what they're doing.

Happy to see asians succeed in football, **** spurs tho

Psk did you read Iniesta's The Artist yet? I've seen some hard copies on amazon but was waiting for digital version. Might just have to cop hard copy

^ :(

I read an online version of the book, but they don't got that here in the states.... My cousin is going to the UK after Christmas break & said she'd pick it up for me... Problem is she'll be there for 1-2 months...
