Being black isn't an ethnicity tho. If you were adopted by a Nigerian family you could consider yourself Nigerian but not black.

I wouldn't consider my adoptive sibling Polish. She is influenced and has an appreciation of the culture. I think the guido culture/lifestyle is more of a regional thing than strictly Italian because I've met Poles, Jews, Russians, etc. from New Jersey/New York that act and dress similarly to these Jersey Shore characters. So I agree with your statement that Snooki isn't Italian but she is a "guidette" as she identifies herself.Originally Posted by DoubleJs07

I'm not mad, just find it ironic. Oh and have you seen the pic MTV shows of Snooki on the bed with the white bed sheets right before the show starts? That pic is dope and she looks mad good, but then you watch the show and it's like a flat out U-turn
You just described the situation with my adoptive sibling (except a girl in this case). My family is Polish and she was adopted from China as infant by my mother. She knows some Polish from my grandparents and participated in events/gatherings with the Polish community when they lived in Chicago. Haha too funny.
