USPS Claims they delivered the package, but there was nothing there

I was supposed to receive a package today, but when I checked online it said that it had been delivered yesterday at 3:40. I asked everyone in my house if a package came and they said the mail man didn't deliver anything. My question is, what do I do now? I don't know if the mail man decided to pull a slick move and update the tracker and kept my %%*! or if it was delivered to someone else or what. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I check to see if it was delivered... when the damn tracker says it was

Any help is highly appreciated

They did this to me a few months ago.

They said they would investigate......I never heard anything.

Funny enough....Same thing happened recently to my boy. This happened a few weeks ago. He called them, was told he would get a call back.......never heard anything.

I think the post man sits the package on the floor of the building that our mailbox`s are in instead of putting them in the box for larger packages and putting the key in our small mailbox.....And someone comes along and takes it.

There is a camera looking at them, but i dont think they even ask the building manager for the video......smh

im sorry but if the tracking says it got delivered and i check and its not home id be pissed. theres a slight chance something happened and he will get it tomorrow but i highly and i mean highly doubt it.

when my cool grey XI's came in, they left it outside my apt door instead of putting it in the box outside the mailbox or even leaving it at the post office. i was terrified someone was gonna come snatch it up as soon as i got the email confirmation it had been delivered

Probably be there tomorrow. Some UPS driver told me sometimes the package goes through UPS (even though it's shipped via USPS) and when it says delivered it actually means it arrived at the post office. If it doesn't come by tomorrow then you should probably worry.

Did you try calling?

This happened to me once, so I just called them and they said they had it. They delivered it to me like an hour after I called.
