Just saw the unlocked price of the HTC One Maxx.

Same price as the Galaxy Note 3.

Going to have to see in person first.

399 kind of threw me off the N5 if that's true. Only thing keeping me from buying the g2 is that that thing looks too ugly for my taste.

The g2 is an ugly a-- phone I can cosign that :lol those buttons on the back are out of place don't care how they end up feeling they look dew dew.

Next phone either gonna be da N5 or da 5s 8o

http://www.android.gs/nexus-5-price-to-be-399-because-of-nexus-4-lte-launch-says-insider/

- the 16 GB Nexus 5 will be priced $399, while the 32 GB model will have price tag of $449 in Play Store

- Google will also launch an LTE-enabled Nexus 4 synchronized with the debut of the Nexus 5

- Nexus 4 LTE will be similar to the ones of the model launched last year

- The only difference between the Nexus 4 LTE and the original Nexus 4 is the internal storage, as the LTE-enabled model will come with either 16 or 32 GB of storage, at the same prices at its predecessor $299 and $349, respectively.

- When the Nexus 4 was initially launched along with Android 4.2 there was a way to unofficially enable 4G LTE by accessing the “Phone info” menu from the dial pad, but the Android 4.2.2 update has killed the unofficial 4G LTE mode for Nexus 4

- If the Android 4.4 KitKat update re-enables the 4G LTE support for Nexus 4, then in theory, the owners of the old Nexus 4 units will also be able to take advantage of the new feature. This might also be the reason why we’ve seen so many leaks of Android 4.4 running on Nexus 4 devices
doesnt make too much sense...

a newer nexus 4 hasnt eem cleared through the FCC filings...

we would've BEEN seen it by now.

unless, they had a ton in stock and just held back... updated them to work on LTE... then will sell them...

seems kinda wack doe... b/c they dropped the price to $250...

i dont know... i hope something materializes.

Although I miss being in the Android family, the 5s is a flat out great device. No flaws with it. If you are just looking to switch it up, the 5s is a viable option.

Yeah, I used to be a heavy iphone guy lul then switched to android when the captivate dropped on AT&T and been with them since currently rocking the One.. At the moment I just need a phone to do the basics which is browse the web, text and talk.. My girl has the 5 I play with it and does everything I need it to do at this point in time.. I'm sure the 5s is pretty much the 5 so I know what I'll be getting if I go that route.. :( Gonna sell the one and buy one of those phones off contract

Yeah both platforms are great. I love both of them but there's just something special about Android man.

The integration with my iPad and Mac just make school so much easier. Textbooks, files, photos, everything syncs. I love it.

I'll be back on Android though. Even considered selling my 5s to cop the G2.

The problem with me actually getting an iphone is I think id miss swype and textra too much.. Those are big deals for me :lol

And I just enjoy the openness of the Android so easy to add things from the computer and take things from my phone and throw it on the computer.. Being able to download 3rd party keyboards and text apps and whatever the f--- else

Yeah man I needed a phone quick earlier this year so I went with the 5 and I'm kind of regretting it, now I want the One. Only upside to this phone IMO is iMessage when you're traveling

I'm on sprint, best way to switch is sell my 5 first then look for a One or y'all think there's people willing to do a trade

I agree 100%

Honestly if they updates the 4 to LTE then I would be happy as can be cause then I wouldnt have to worry about roots anymore and just enjoy the product

Pretty sure i'll be grabbing a N5 too, then i'll have to pick one to keep and one to sell. Still have my One as a backup tho

Ya'll think there will be any resell value on the Nexus 5 when it first drops just like the 4
laugh.gif

I doubt they would repeat the supply issues again.

It would be nice to flip some profit to grab a Nexus 5 for free just to play with along with my 5s

I don't think it will be enough to get a 2nd one for free.

Well as I was planning on trading my iPhone for a S4 I was offered to trade a HTC One. I am gonna do that easy. Won't even need to root it. 4.3 as well. Cases? Thinking about this one off amazon. I like bumpers.
