Just gotta read and read. Same thing with sneakers. Read and read and you pick up things over time. I gained my entire sneaker knowledge just by reading dude's posts on NT since 2005

i compare this thread to TAY... b/c there seems to be a collective around helping each other out.
Well just got my G2 in today and this phone is super fast, amazing camera and I'm loving the software. Had the one for a few months and the only thing that i miss is the speakers. Those were truly game changing. Oh and the build quality was also top notch on the One but i always had a case on it.
Even though the G2 is 5.2 inches it doesn't feel huge. Almost perfect size imo. The screen is probably the best I've seen on a phone so far. The lock screen is a cool little feature too, kinda addictive
The buttons on the back takes a little getting used to but after a day of using it, it feels normal now. I can actually see myself keeping this phone for a while.
All I need now is a case for this beast. What are my fellow G2 owners rocking with
That g2 looks I'm just not sure about the lg software
What is this g2 unlock screen that keeps being mentioned?
Holeeeeeup you telling me if I watch dem dere vids the buttons gonna stay on the screen?!?I wasn't sure about it at first either but its got some good features and its really customizable if you're into that. Only thing that I'm finding a little bit annoying is that the front buttons don't disappear when watching certain videos...seems like if its not a youtube video the buttons stay on the screen. That g2 looksI'm just not sure about the lg software
I actually don't have that problem on mine.Holeeeeeup you telling me if I watch dem dere vids the buttons gonna stay on the screen?!?

That's a dealbreaker
Da N2 is far from outdated. If it is already marked down then cop it. Still a good buy.Man so AT&T KINDA screwed me on an upgrade they were giving me but I have it next month and my bill is 75 bucks a month now
So brahs, I'm looking at either the N2 to save some dough or the G2, N3 or Nex5. I'm feeling the G2 more and more but if AT&T pisses me off and I walk, I can take the Nex5 where ever.
Is the N2 truly considered outdated tech? I have a GS3 thats processor is starting to fry out so I don't want to make the mistake on another year old phone you know?
Does anyone on here use a Macbook? My Macbook won't recognize my G2 when I plug it in with the USB. Is this an Android problem and is there a way around it? I'm tired of not being able to get music onto this thing.
Those are the faint dots that's on most AOSP ROMs. Not bad at all. I thought y'all were talmbot the full nav buttons. That would've been a deal breaker.I actually don't have that problem on mine.
Edit: nevermind, I realized what he meant. they do stay on the screen. I'm able to zone it out pretty easily though. I don't think it's a make or break issue.
You know the phone already went through the FCC right. The battery is 2300 mah.i have LOW faith in there being a "MAX" version of the Nexus 5...
like... 3000 mah battery... for $400... on a NEXUS....
that just sounds too good to be true, fambs...
i read on XDA that the max version is all rumors...
here's my prediction on the nexus 5 spec sheet
2 gb ram...
2700 mah batter across the board.
16 gb for 329... 32 gb for 379...
kit kat... hangouts will be the new integrated messaging app... but you can still use go sms and handcent... just wont have the ability to text from whatever location...
hangouts will be like the imessaging platform...
release on october 29-31...
I'm going to T-Mobile and copping the G2 this week. I already know the N5 is not gonna have the same exact panel as the G2 and damn sure isn't gonna have that 3000mah battery. Whenever the N5 does drop I'm quite sure a Kit Kat ROM won't be too far off for the G2

Im waiting for reviews to see if Kit Kat has a power saving mode built in. Otherwise Im going with the Note 2/3 or One Maxx.
Charging the phone throughout the day is annoying.
