GNex + N7 combo good enough to hold me down for now. Maybe on my next bonus in January I'll upgrade but it's not a necessity yet. I do loathe the burned in AMOLED panel on the GNEX but I do most browsing & videos on the N7.

On a more pertinent note though I'm glad Google has learned their lesson. No matter how many units the N5 sells it ain't seeing iPhone__(S) in any shape or form from a hype/mass appeal standpoint. Making a grand announcement and then waiting weeks for the true release would've just pissed off the core group of Android fans/customers who've been waiting for the phone. There will be plenty enough coverage from the tech sites and even mainstream ones so no need to grandstand about the release. Especially after being leaked so consistently.

It will be cool to see if the marketing lines up with the N7 campaign because I saw a total of 0 ads for the N4.

And Spigen wasted no time getting their cases up on eBay

People are buying the Nexus for price only.
