Now to be fair....I watched a lot of review videos for this zagg extreme product because I never believe a commercial because it's biased, obviously. Nothing ever works like in the commercial. Clearly the arrow test failed miserably. I watched other videos where hammers cracked the screen. HOWEVER:
The screen protector did perform very well in drop tests. It also performed well in light hammer strikes. I was more than impressed...almost to the point where I stand corrected.
It also stood up to scratches very well. I had never heard of this extreme version of zagg's screen protector...seems legit...sort of...
BUT:
The damn thing costs 30 freakin dollars. That's OD spending on a screen protector. I have full insurance on the phone....the deductible isn't much more than the screen protector.
Also...it's not oleophobic, and reviewers were complaining about how bad it is with fingerprints. I bet it feels rubbery. I just like the feeling of the naked glass. AND...did anyone notice how thick the damn thing is? When the phones are held at an angle, I can see that the screen protector is CRAZY thick. I bet that has an effect on viewing quality. Also...I'm getting the Note 3...how would this thick protector effect S pen usage...would it also effect air command using the s pen?
I'm almost sold on the product, after years of never using a protector. But IDK man...nothing beats that naked glass viewing and feel. Still not sold.
