I supported Sammy in their early days of clawing back into Mobile relevance. Samsung Mondi's and Epics etc. But I'm kinda sick of the amazing hardware, low budget casing game that they are playing. Faux leather, plastic low quality bodies on their flagship phones. I'm over it.

HTC used to kill it back in the Windows Mobile days.. No idea what happened, but hopefully they can reclaim dominance with the HTC One, One+ etc.

Any other EvolveSMS users notice when sending MMS the quality of the pic is compromised? Like it's heavily filtered compared to if you used your stock app? Is this common in all 3rd party text apps?

carver carver what kernel do u recommend? I really only used it since it was a simple install using aroma and only flashed it to use sweep to wake and sleep.. I don't mess with the other stuff.. Thanks in advance

check out the color mods for franco, it'll give your screen colors some extra pop

I touched based on this the other day. Samsung needs to use better quality, that's my biggest gripe with them. The Captivate/S1 came with a nice back piece. The plastic back piece of the S3 is just :{

Another alleged live photo of the yet to be announced HTC M8made the rounds on Twitter. The image shows the device tucked into a protective flip case which looks a lot like the original flip coverfor the HTC One.

The purported photo of the HTC M8 is different from the previous leak  of the device’s front (that particular image was subsequently shot down as fake by an HTC exec). The smartphone in the newly emerged image has an LED notification light between the front-facing camera and the earpiece.

In addition to the notification light, we also get to see the on-screen Android navigation buttons of the flagship. They fall right in line withprevious  leaks.

HTC‘s next Android smartphone flagship is expected to debut  in March. Its rumored specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 5” 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, dual 5MP camera setup, and Sense-d Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Does anyone here use hello SMS with Light Flow? If you do, does anyone know how to set per contact notifications or if they even support it?

Just bought a refurbished ipad air for $380 after tax :hat

Gonna be weird with the discontinuity of the platforms between the ipad and my nexus 4

Any tips for a new ios user who's known only android?

What's with the htc logo? Joint taking up space, making it bigger than it should be with that crap

I'm saying though. They could have stuck with capacitive buttons if they were going to leave that thick logo on the bottom.

Agree.. why do they feel the need to throw their logo there, isn't it already on the back? I would have been fine with it had they had their capactive buttons there, but to have just the logo and on screen buttons that's pointless as hell.

HTC One's successor codenamed M8 has leaked yet again. This time around we get to see some live shots of the upcoming flagship. Just as previous leaks  have suggested, the smartphone features dual-camera setup at the back with a dual-LED flash.

HTC M8

The dual-LED flash will supposedly be similar to the iPhone 5s true tone flash, but this isn't as clear from today's photos as it was in a previous shot of the M8's back. Anyway, the new UltraPixel cameras will supposedly produce higher than 4MP shots, while the dual camera setup may allow for Lytro-like  shots (change perspective and focus after shooting).

There are tiny differences from HTC One at the front too. The sensors have been moved next to the 2MP front camera, while the capacitive hardware keys are gone for good replaced by the standard virtual Android trio.

The new camera department aside, the phone looks exactly like the original HTC One, though its screen has smaller bezels. Previous rumors tip the display to be a 5" 1080p unit.

You can check these cool fan renders  based on all the rumors to date.

HTC M8, also known as One 2, or Two, is expected  to go official this March in New York. HTC One mini 2codenamed M8 mini, is expected to premiere soon after with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset.

Thank you, Szilard Erwin Szogyenyi, for the tip!
