Will have to watch this later, I like MKBHD's reviews on things.. the wait for the OnePlus is killing me. I need a new phone asap. I got a broken screen on a i5 and G2 I need something like soon.. been rocking my i4 since I broke my i5
Looks pretty cool outside the orange on the camera.. and that front part of the phone that does not need to be mentionedM8 Prime

isn't Engadget known for being Apple groupies though? It's hard to trust reviews these days because so many are paid on the side for a good review

The HTC logo on the prime looks way more toned down. Still leaning towards G3 right now though
I don't think its necessarily toned down. Looks to be about the same size. I think the biggest difference is that the bezel on top is the same as the bottom now that they put the proximity sensor in the top bezel. Makes the whole front of the device perfectly symmetrical, including the speaker holes which a lot of people were complaining about.

got the i5 fixed today one of my brothers friends did it for fairly cheap and it's like night and day compared to the 4 :x .. Still waiting on that Oneplus tho, that major home button delay might bug me hope that joint gets fixed before they release to the pub
I already know that would bug me. If not may just cop da G3 an call it a year

Its just due to the runtime... Dalvik won't be affected. Google is moving towards ART as the De facto, but that doesn't mean that it'll be impossible to exploit.
Its a non issue with devices that already have unlocked bootloaders.
I assume you mean in the way of locking the phones down and making it more difficult to root...the short answer is No its not. Google is turning Android into a more secure platform. OEMs are the ones responsible for the lock down.
Invest in phones with unlocked bootloaders. Problem solved.

I watched that One Plus One review, pretty dope. Not sure if I want the phone though, the G3 is still calling me and the i6 is around the corner.
