Anyone heard of some promotion that Sprint is running that you trade in your old Evo4G and you only have to pay $100 and you get the Evo3D, but you have to re-up to a new two year contract?

I'm out here in Cali for a couple of days and these dudes that are friends with my homie that I'm visiting out here were telling me and all 6 of them did it.

Two other's said they tried to go into the Sprint store and said that they don't do that though.

One of the guys is a jeweler I think and knows a girl at Sprint so maybe that's how they got put on.

Got to play with the 3D... the 3D is something I don't care for, but it's pretty cool but they said the battery last them all day now.

Anyone else use their yahoo mail on their phones? For the past month or so when I look in my mailbox, it'll say I have new mail with the date Dec. 31 1969. They end up being old emails I have but say they're new and unread. I find it annoying and it happens daily. Does this happen to anyone else? It only happens on my phone, not when I log in on my computer to check.

Please do not buy the Charge?

I had that phone for a couple days and took it back cause it was a piece of garbage. Switched back to the iphone

How I feel exactly, I'm going to give it a couple more days but so far I am unimpressed, especially for the price

But thats stupid......You can sell the evo for $200-$250 if it still looks good.

some store do the trade in thing, sounds legit to me..........I doubt the regular "authorized dealers" will do it though.

There is a place in stl that owns alot of the sprint stores and they do the trade in thing.........dont know how much they give you though.

If the Charge had more RAM itd be a no brainer. and it seems as if the Galaxy S 2 wont be comin out to q1 next year on Big Red

Naw, you just gotta flash it with Odin. im running Humble rom and the kernel that was included with it when you flash it.
After the battery calibration and battery bump u should be good

im loving this phone man, even though i got it for free i really like it.

So I bought an EVO 3D off of craigslist for 275 (great deal). When I get home I turn it on to activate it and it turns out the phone is still activated. I know I am an idiot and got scammed. But the phone is still working, I can make calls, text, etc no problem.

The phone is located in Virginia, I am in seattle so I am pretty sure it's stolen. Sprint won't deactivate it for me because I am not the original owner, and I cannot get in contact with them.

Is anybody on NT a sprint employee or know someone who could help me? I am pretty much screwed otherwise and I don't wana resell it and scam someone else.
