I guess I'll be the first to say Drake is better lyrically. I haven't spun Wale in a while (hated the new single) but I feel that Drake says a lot morein his songs than Wale does. They sound completely different and their rhyme schemes are very different. If We're talking about just rhyming wordstogether, Wale has an argument, but if were talking about all things lyrics (Rhyme scheme, content) I'll go with drake all day.

^but how many songs does Drake have where he goes in like that? that's the most lyrical song he's done. the rest of his raps vary from punchline-typestuff to decently lyrical verses that aren't that deep.

I am a huge Wale and Drake fan,
but TO ME......Wale > Drake...slightly though. I really can't say Wale is more lyrical or has a better flow, IDK why I like Wale a little more but forsome reason I just listen to him more.
Both are dope as hell to me. They both have classics though, Comeback Season, and A Mixtape About Nothing.

It's not even close in that department. Drake isn't say much in most of his songs. I can point to like 5 that have some redeeming value. I like Drake,but I'm not turning to him for content.

I think these two guys need to hop on an official ALBUM rather than a MIXTAPE, and then we can really decide. But IMO, Drake hype is so out of wack, Wale'srhymes are 10x better.

Wale is no question better lyrically, but Drake no question has more appeal and more overall talent. I know for a fact the industry is drooling right now overwhat Drake is and going to become.
