bless the dead, eoh, but sneakermane speaks the truth. sean taylor was no ed reed. ed reed is def. the best since deion (even tho reed is a safety). u heardmadden last night, he said ed reed is a ball hog and suggested that he may be the best safety in NFL HISTORY.

also, (& this ain't necessarily directed at u eoh), where is all the dudes who was talkin bout jason campbell is so great??

Again, its like bammas saying Jay is better than Biggie.

Biggie never got the years to even draw the comparison fairly... Unless you compare them while BOTH were alive, and many refuse to...

Who knows how Taylor would have faired 4-6 years with the Skins after his death.

Reed is the "best rapper alive."

That's all I'm saying.

Well using the same number of years, Reed had 10 more interceptions, 2 more sacks, and 2 more touchdowns. I mean don't get me wrong, Taylor was a stellarplayer, but he was no Ed Reed.

Lucky bastard *gunshots shots rang out...ducks for cover*

Gimme' a couple of years to get my own box...

I like the Big L comparison a lot more than Biggie...ST showed flashes that he was about to breakout, but he wasn't the best in the game when he passed.

I know what you mean about some skins fans...they act like if he was playing they'd be undefeated right now

Statistics Glossary

* To qualify, a player must have at least 14 attempts per team's games played

So yeah I was going to say Campbell is still better and I know ppl like stats so here you go. Campbell is still better, more yardage, better completionpercentage, less turnovers. Only thing Flaco has is 3 more TD's and less sacks. And sacks aren't really Jason's fault, our line be playing likesome trash at times.

And Campbell had better yardage and a higher completion percentage in the game

I would like to add that Sean Taylor struck fear in players hearts. Ed Reed doesnt have that effect. Stats are a major part of the game but its not everything.

Rocman.

Flacco has damn near 100 less attempts than JC.

And is only trailing by 300 yards or so.

Son actin' like he's blowing him out the water..

My-T.

word.......rookie season

but tell me jason look shook as hell last night, after he got laid out and fumbled ( but they said some %$*%++#% that it was an un reviewable play)

but im not too happy about the ravens offense.

Tell me how Ed Reed doesn't strike fear in the QB?

Cuz Campbell sure looked shook...

Campbell was shook cause he had that ugly bamma, Terrell Suggs coming off the edge.....not to mention the different blitz packages that had everyone on ouroffensive line fooled.

Our O-Line vs. a top 10 D = Disaster.

excuse after excuse....the skins have NO reason to be right in the mix every year to blow it....its the same thing every season.....they stink and thats whereit ends....nothing else to it...

Stop it

As far as Campbell, if the line is that bad then he need to get rid of the ball faster...everytime I see him play he look confused. If he was a rookie I'dgive hm a pass, but he in his 4th year...time to grow up. I'd take Flacco over him any day.

will the ravens make the playoffs we will see. and Campbell still has less ints with that 100 more pass attempts. ill give the ravens this there offense isbetter, but ill take campbell over flaaco cause of ball protection.

and yall better beat the cowboys

Whether someone is better than another person is subjective. But shouldn't a vet be better than a rookie? Just in general terms.

And the Cowboys aren't even on our radar. The business at hand is the Steelers, and this game is extremely important to our playoff hopes. At it standsnow, even with a win, we lose the tie breaker based on in-conference record. Perhapds CLE could pull another game out of their !+@% like the Giants game thefinal week of the season.

Im talking about when players are scared to catch the ball when Sean Taylor was in the area. Not scared to get picked off

the ravens came to play last night, the skins didnt. the skins aint know what to do out there!!

You know it's the truth when a Lions fan is saying so. Why? Because who else would have extensive knowledge of what an unprepared team does and looks like?
roll.gif

why do we still continue to bring up Sean Taylor and Ed Reed in comparison?

especially from the bammas who only watched him once or twice a year..let him rest

Looka' here...Who is this jo your referring to?! I can't get down with all this 40 miles down south slang you constantly spit. But I'll try todecipher what your saying thru all this bamma talk. What the hell is a bamma?!
grin.gif

First let it be known, my fav college football team is the U. Miami...for all who don't know what the U is. Saying that...the "god bless thedead" comments was unneccesaary. I'm a fan of any Hurricane. This includes Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, and Sean Taylor. I was saddened when hepassed because unlike a lot of you ******** fans...I followed his career in college & he was a beast!!!

Even thou Ed Reed won a national title with Miami in 01' on the same team that had Jeremy Shockey, Clinton Portis, Andre Johnson.......Taylor was theanchor to that team that following season (along with Frank Gore, Willis McGahee, Kellen Winslow II ) that many say was just as good. The team that got robbedof a national championship against Ohio State on that bogus PI call. At one point in time, I even told some homies that Sean Taylor was gonna be the bestsafety ever when he turned pro because of his size & speed. But thou he was a solid player in the NFL...and a helluva' hitter, that never materializedwith the ********. He was constantly caught out of position...and big plays was being made on him on a regular. That's what happens when you want to belike Roy Williams...another safety known for hitting & not covering. He damn sure covered in college, but he turned pro & decided he wanted to be ahitter?! Go figure. Taylor was still young so he would have had time to learn schemes & master his covering skills, if that crime didn't occur.

But still he was no ED REED. This man has been an impact player since he came into the NFL. And even thou Taylor was more physically gifted than him, Reed isbetter. There is NO DISTRACTIONS with Reed. His hands is like velcro. His football IQ is rediculous. And what's funny is...the last season & a half,he's been performing with a bum neck. The best safety in the league...and he isn't even 100%.

U FIGURE IT OUT!

We talking Football here, nothing personal, younger man (U look a whole lot older than me, thou).

But...you sound a lil' bitter. Like you actually believed the ******** was gonna win that game.
