Crazy how some don't understand a simple Marvel movie. Reaching hard to make T'Challa illegtimate when he earned his title at the beginning of the movie and never officially lost it.

Sigh...the goal post is just non existent to you....killmonger got the serum because he was crowned as the rightful king.

Sigh killmonger took the plant because the fight was over. It was done.

T'Challa took the plant because he wanted to keep the fight going. But you can't fight with the plant inside you.. The rules say so!

you cant pick and choose when to follow rules if your entire argument is hinged on "BUT THE RULES!" bottom line is, killmonger didnt kill, tchalla didnt yield. period. so if we're gonna be sticklers for rules, killonger broke the rules first when he assumed he won and got his powers back MID FIGHT. instantly disqualifying him. thats regardless of anyone knows or not. cuz rules are rules right?

He was literally declared a winner and crowned

Of course he's going to take the plant lol

Fight was over. If t'challa wanted a legit rematch both guys got to take the plant out all over again
 
I think T'chacka was afraid his brother was gonna challenge him for the throne, that's why he was quick to put the paws on him and left him slumped in Compton.

Bruh you keep saying "ring out" as if that is part of the rules. IT'S NOT!
Killmonger threw him over the edge because he thought that would kill him. Not because that means he wins automatically.
I'll give you "they thought he was dead" because everyone did but that is irrelevant according to the rules. Either they ARE dead or yield simple! Killmonger took the herb FIRST because he thought T'Challa was dead and he wasn't. It is Kilmongers fault for not making sure T'Challa was dead. Yes T would have died without it, but again technically Killmonger took it first thus ending the fight. Killmonger F'ed up by throwing him over the edge. Should have picked up his blade and finished him there or made him tap.
Yes the rematch should have been without powers but Killmonger F'ed that up too.
A. T'Challa offered to continue the challenge and Killmonger said no. We don't know if he would have said yes, if they would have proceeded with the challenge by traditional standards. Instead he refused and T had to stop him from waging war.
B. Even if they went the traditional route, Killmonger destroyed the plant so who ever won couldn't be BP anyway.

Ok then everyone else messed up. Your issue would be with the people not making sure T was dead.
By the rules T did not die or tap BEFORE Killmonger took the herb.
Doesn't make T'Challa cheat and Killmonger declined to continue so we don't know if they would have fought by traditional rules.

I swear all of yall are forgetting he would have died if not for Mbaku.

Again it wasn't up to Killmonger to go out and look at the bottom of the waterfall to see if he died. It was assumed that no one would have survived that. As far as we know that's true....he survived because of Mbaku. period.

Yall also forget when he was about to chop T'challa's head off. Uncle James stopped his sword.
Usurper'challa got helped twice. from dying.. The rules of the ritual says no one can intefere. So it should've have been a forfeit right from that moment. Uncle James basically threw in the towel/ yielded for him.. IMO T'challa lost right there.
If we're being "A stickler for the rules"

It's ok tho yall still capin for that usurper.
 
T'challa walked up solo to killmonger and clearly said 'I didnt yield and clearly I'm not dead'

Killmonger responded he was done with all that challenge stuff.. also must factor in him burning all of the herbs

And then he ordered w'kabi and co to attack t'challa

Ya do understand killmonger would have killed TChalla way before he threw him off the ledge of it wasn’t for a Suri stepping in?

The only one that walked up in Wakanda and played by their rules was Erik, everyone else did everything they could to help out TChalla, except for Okoye, who with a broken heart stayed loyal to the throne, Suri jumped in first, MBaku rescued him from a sure death at the bottom, Nakita and Shuri stole the last purple plant and his mom performed the ritual to give him back his powers, how is ANY of this debatable, TChalla didn’t win fair and square, he didn’t follow his own ritual rules, none of the people that helped him did.
 
T'challa is too much of a chump

His cousin literally gave him the head of his greatest enemy and he wasn't even grateful. You can tell he was more scared of losing his throne. He didn't even want to tell the rest of the royal family who Killmonger really was.

I'm surprised t'challa has so many fans. He basically admitted that the only black ppl he cares about are the ones who live in wakanda :lol:
