Get more info and somehow incorporate it into your essay. That's what I used to do, and I never got less than a 82% on any paper from HS toCollege...except when I didn't do 'em.

Margins and increase font by .5 or maybe as much as 1, depending on the teacher and how careful he/she when grading the papers.

just don't make it a NOTICEABLY bigger space, then you'll get caught, but a small difference that isn't noticeable to the eye will still work

I'm glad I didn't know that when I was in HS/College. Long papers are the reason my vocabulary increased. I'd keep hitting the thesaurus for everyother word looking for the longest synonym.

Period trick has not failed me yet. I even use them on commas and my teachers don't notice.

on a font 12 paper, change the periods, apostrophes and commas to pt. 14. It'll help a lot.
