concord xi retro, got them my senior year of high school I wore those until they turned piss yellow.

My dad bought some white/red 5s with the 23 stitched on the side for real cheap at a mom and pop store. I really liked them and wanted some too. We went to a couple of stores to look for some in my size but by then they were long gone. The 6s were already out so my dad got me the white/red 6s. I was 8 at the time. I used to put change inside the little pocket in front with the button and hang them up from the heel tab

White/red 6s were my first Jordan purchase since the 11/12 pack, for sentimental reasons of course. Considered the infrared pack but they didn't even make my size so getting the white/reds for around 90 with Chicago tax is a much better deal.

I was on the school basketball team.. I was starting my very first game.. The team was undefeated going into the game..

My older sister surprise me by going to the game and she had a pair of concords in my size.. I did the math and put them on immediately.. I was on cloud 9!!

Fast forward to 10 seconds left in the game..and the team was down by 2.. I drank my gatorade.. and look down at my shoes..then it hits me.. I wanna be like Mike!! so I decide to go for the win and shot the 3 pointer and I miss!

We were on vaca and my mom and dad had hit up a casino while there. well my mom won about $500. so on our way back home we hit up some store and I see the AJ XVII+. Now I always loved bball shoes but the only time I ever got them were 1 a yr and from eastbay clearances(a lived in a small town) when they were like $40-$60. I asked her for them but as soon as I saw the price I said oh, never mind, all bummed out. But she just looked at me and was like ok I get them for ya. I freaking love those kicks, I was so happy!

back when i was looking through the nikepark website, i saw the xiii lows in the black/midnight navy colorway. i was never a big fan of jordans or anything but i thought that these looked pretty nice. i went to sheikh's at eastridge mall when they were released and they didn't have my size(10.5). but they had a size 11 and my mom bought 'em for me. i wore these(along with the pippen ii's) during my whole freshman year but i managed to take care of them. after that, i just put them back in the box and left it in the garage. couple of years went by, a couple of friends and even my uncle would spot these shoes in our garage and would offer me money to buy 'em. i think if it weren't for my friends talking about shoes with me at that time, i wouldn't have been in this shoe game. so with that said, i didn't sell them of course... that's why i still have them.

had to touch up the white pods, though. they were a bit yellow.

They would pay me to mow the lawn. By the end of the summer, I had purchased Super Mario Bros. 2 & my
first pair of Nike Air Jordan’s - the White-Cement Grey 3. My grandmother had to bring me to the mall to buy them
because my parents wanted nothing to do with buying ridiculously expensive sneakers (or video games for that matter.)
When I would go to the mall with my grandmother, she would buy me cheaper things like cassettes. This would have
been like 2 Live Crew, Public Enemy, Ice-T, BDP, etc...ha ha - if she only knew how she was subverting my parents.
(Maybe she did!) I still visit with her a few times a year. Unconditional love.

I got the OG White/Red VI my senior year in high school, put them away for safekeeping when I went to college the next year (they wouldn't last very long walking around campus in New Hampshire), and have never seen them since. My mother swears she never threw them out, and I love her, but....I think she might be lying on this one.

Black/Red Jordan XIII retro's. Got as a present back in Christmas of 2004. Wore them to ball,cut grass,casual walk,...everything. They went through hell, as in rain,dirt,sweat,dog bite...etc.
