It could have just been one of those things that was going to happen no matter what shoe he was in but it really made me turned off of the shoe, and actually the whole foamposite line for balling. I have terrible ankles too (I turn them all the time) and I just knew it wasnt for me. Anyone else have any similiar experiences?

dam thats 2 people so far that said something about throwing them in the wash.. would you just throw the shoes as is, or put them in a pillow case? just asking cause one of my homey's cleaned his am 95;s in a pillow case, they came out super clean.. i guess if my carolina pro's ever get to the point i have to do that i just might try it, wanna do it right though

From a performance stand point, made me think the shoe wasnt stable - I know things will happen and people get hurt balling but he just landed funny and his ankle broke - i just seemed like it shouldnt happen.
From a non performance angle, it was pretty gruesome so I associate the shoe with seeing him writhing in pain?
The OP asked why the shoes didnt get any love. I was just giving my opinion that it gets no love for me because of that incident.
