But really, he could've and should've gone to the WWE when all the Invasion stuff went down. I know he stuck to his guns and I know he was the "guy" in TNA for years, but if the promotion is crap, and you're champion, you're still the champion of crap.
Realness! But he been takin L's since Crow Sting.Originally Posted by ROBPZEE612

I've heard him say another reason he didn't go to WWE is because their programming conflicted with his christian values but then he signs with TNA who does way worse stuff than the 'E has done in about 5 yearsOriginally Posted by ROBPZEE612

I've mentioned it before on here, but they way they treated DDP was inexcusable and embarrassing. Took one of the last WCW legit main eventers, and killed him off before heOriginally Posted by Naija Nitemare

To be fair, Booker never truly looked up to snuff with The Rock or Stone Cold during their feuds. In addition, DDP feuded with the Undertaker--this is indisputable. But nobody can look me straight in the eye and tell me that their feud went down in a way that gave respect to who Diamond Dallas Page was in the eyes of wrestling fans.
Top WCW guys, although promoted as top billing, were never treated as such in their angles. Rey Mysterio is the only WCW guy to wrestle for WWE as a top guy--and that was post-Invasion; plus he was the only wrestler of his kind (Masked Luchador) in the WWE.

brock/rock has been done before. not saying i wouldn't mind seeing it again though.
this age thing, i dont buy it
flair, who was 59 at the time, faced shawn michaels at wm24, which was a realy good, not a great match.
undertaker, who is 47, wrestled this past sunday in an epic match.
i'm not saying sting/taker would be an amazing match, but its the only dream match we could have left, because other legends are dead or cant go anymore
sting already said he regretted not signing w/ wwe last year. not saying he will this year but we got months to see what happens.
just imagine the promos. taker comes out, stands in the ring, lights go out, we see a scorpion on the screen, sting comes out with white facepaint, black trench coat, baseball bat, looks at taker, points at wm29 logo w/ the bat. y'all dont wanna see that?

I know that is the easy and most common answer, but it's gotta be more than that..I don't think anyone would disagree when I say that DDP was a top guy in WCW, he drew good money, had a character/personality that was way over with the fans, and he also had alot of mainstream exposure due to the Leno and Malone matches..So having said all that, what would make Vince throw away a guy that could sell merch, draw ratings, and could be another great face for your company?..Originally Posted by GotHolesInMySocks
