Oh man don't even go back and bring up the great burial period.

I can recount the guys RIGHT NOW who were peaking but fell victim to the Pedigree.

RVD
Kane
Booker T

Easily were so over between 2003-2004. Right before Kane took his mask off, he was so popular. RVD could have gotten crowd pops on the toilet. Booker T not going over at Wrestlemania 19 was a damn travesty. Triple H was on saying touchy racist stuff the whole feud. The fans wanted it. It only made sense for him to win at Mania.

They also KILLED Kane during that time with the Katie Vick storyline.

- There has been a lot of speculation on Paul Heyman returning to WWE now that Brock Lesnar has returned for at least a year. Word is that there are no plans for Heyman to come in, he was not part of the negotiations and is not a part of the deal.

Heyman simply isn’t available as he has other things going on.

There are people in WWE who want Heyman to come back as a sort of “talking head

- PWInsider reports that there are already WWE talents not too happy about Brock Lesnar returning, likely for similar reasons they weren’t happy with The Rock coming back.

This *%$# is so annoying. How about instead of *****ing and moaning, you guys go out there and make yourselves matter. Bunch of Jack Swagger $%% _'s

When you guys say "make yourself matter" or "stand out", should a wrestler stray away from script and risk it?

I was thinking about this subject and the only thing I can come up with is to stray away from what you're scripted to do or say and do or say something at your own risk.

Take your character and run with it (Zack Ryder, Santino, R-Truth [when he was a heel])

Work on your craft and improve your in ring/promo ability (Dolph Ziggler, Kofi needs work)

Don't necessarily go out there and do the opposite of what you're told, but I mean, do something man.

Dudes like Jack Swagger supposed to be gatekeeper heels and get 0 reaction out there man, #*** is pathetic.

I usually refer to that period as HHH's 'Kill You Back To Midcard World Tour'. I swear it was like late 2002-2005 or 2006.
As soon as Eric Bischoff gave the WHC to HHH, you knew there was gonna be trouble

But really,he did buried a lot of wrestlers during that time.

Jericho doing that list of holds has got to be one of the top ten moments of his entire career..Nobody can argue against Chris' ability inring and on the mic..Dude is always money..

I've been doing some thinking and I really hope Cena goes over Lesnar in the end of all this. I'm no Cena mark but he can't be made to constantly look weak to outsider. Losing to the Rock was fine but getting destroyed by both Rock and Lesnar is a bit much.

Thoughts?

If I was in that position, I would. If I was frustrated to that point, I'd likely have nothing to lose.

And in this day in age with social network, it's very possible to carry that hype over to TNA or something if need be.

If I was some doo doo @#! dude like Swagger or Miz or Zack Ryder when he wasn't getting any shine, I would have gone off the script the first chance I got.

I would tell HHH and them "Either give me a new gimmick, or I'll go to TNA"

According to ABC News affiliate KMBC News, an interesting development in the lawsuit filed by Martha Hart against WWE has come to light. Here is what the report had to say.

Martha Hart sued WWE and McMahon in 2010 during her first run for the Senate, which the Republican lost to Democrat Richard Blumenthal. Hart said the company used the image of her late husband, Owen Hart, in videos and other materials without her permission and despite her objections.

Judge Stefan Underhill last week dismissed the claims against McMahon and her husband, Vince McMahon, and most claims against WWE. He said the company, which is based in Stamford and has formally changed its name from World Wrestling Entertainment to WWE, retained a right to Owen Hart's wrestling career.

The most interesting bit is where is says, "WWE retained a right to Owen Hart's wrestling career."

dvds, other merchandise and the HOF most likely

We got a taste of the Lesnar vs. Cena rivalry way back in 2003, not long after both guys debuted in the WWE, and apparently, Cena and Lesnar didn’t exactly get along swimmingly back then.

According to PWTorch.com, when Brock Lesnar was previously in WWE (nine-years ago) he did not get along with John Cena. Stories from behind the scenes say that Lesnar was not a fan of a young, up and coming Cena. One source actually stated, “Brock absolutely positively hated and detested John Cena!
