The Bellas calling themselves "veterans" on this Total Divas commercial is :x :x They are veterans in name only

So I've been trying to figure out what Xavier Woods' gimmick is, and it's so clear now....he's the 90's.

More Injuries and Problems in TNA

James Storm was injured last night in a match in Danville, IL.  We're still awaiting more details, but he was in a sell spot in the match with he and Gunner against Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff.

Suddenly, he couldn't move.  Gunner immediately went to the finish to retain the titles.  Storm was tended to by EMT's, and a stretcher was brought in.  Storm refused the stretcher and was helped to the back by Gunner.  The show was delayed because it took a long time to get him to the back.

No announcement was made after the match.

At tonight's TNA house show in Cape Girardeau, MO, that was scheduled to start a few minutes ago, road agent Pat Kenney came out at the start of the show and announce that roughly half the wrestlers who were scheduled would not be allowed to work due to commission licensing issues.  They are offering both refunds, and for those who don't take refunds, a free fan interaction with all the wrestlers.

On this week's Bauer and Pollock Show, Court Bauer said that expect even more cost cutting measures to be coming in TNA.  He can confirm that TNA is behind on paying Hulk Hogan as well as other talents.

He also said that on Friday, D-Lo Brown restructured his contract.  On Monday, D-Lo was released.  The belief is that Dixie Carter is not behind these moves in TNA.  Janice and Bob Carter (her parents) are tightening the strings in TNA.  They may cut costs to the point that they may take the company to bare bones, ride out the SpikeTV contract, and then shut down the company.  This would be an extreme case, but it is a possibility.

Al Snow is now handling many of the responsibilities that Al Snow and Bruce Pritchard had.

Bout half (or a 3rd of whatever is left) of that TNA roster may as well head over to FCW/NXT and work out a development deal. Welcome Madison Skye, Terry Robinson, Danny Christopher, and Nicholas Magnum.

According to the Rock's Facebook page, Tamina Snuka is in Hercules as well.

- Plans for NXT star Kassius Ohno, the former Chris Hero, to be called up to the main roster have apparently been halted.

According to a source, the creative team had a storyline to debut Ohno this summer. Some within the company were impressed with his in-ring skills and promos, and asked him to improve his physique while creative worked on his introduction. According to trainers at NXT, Ohno seemed reluctant in the weightlifting and gym sessions, but continued to receive high marks for his overall attitude and the effort in his daily in-ring sessions.

Word got back to Triple H about Ohno dodging gym time, and he was taken off TV tapings. Ohno has missed two tapings in the past few weeks, and there is said to be increased concern about his status with the company. He has a lot of people still high on him, but this could be costly for one of the top prospects in WWE’s developmental system.

- WWE has been planning their own weekend-long convention, styled after the popular San Diego Comic Con. The plan is for the convention to be held over four days in the same city as a major pay-per-view event.

There is no timetable yet for the first event as WWE officials are still working on plans and reaching out to fans via surveys to gauge their interest.

The four-day event, likely from Thursday to Sunday, would be far more like a comic convention than WWE’s current Axxess events with many different attractions. Early plans are to have a VIP ticket in the $100-$150 area as well as a general admission ticket. These tickets would be separate from the pay-per-view ticket.

Early markets under consideration for the first WWE convention are New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Miami, San Antonio, New Orleans and Orlando.

They're asking a guy who's 33, and has been wrestling since the late 90's to "improve his physique"? K

i dont get their obsession with physique. like i get how watching a fat dude roll around could turn people off but ohno looks like a regular person. maybe thats the problem they want superhero looking dudes out there.
