Wrestling Thread May 2-8 | 5/6 BOYCOTT SMACKDOWN TONIGHT - TELL @WWE YOUR THOUGHTS

A common question about Punk's gimmick, and one that comes up often with fans, is the meaning of the initialism CM. Originally the CM represented the phrase "Chick Magnet", the name of the tag team he was in as a backyard wrestler. Punk, however, later changed CM into an orphan initialism, declaring that it has no meaning, though when asked since he has taken to making up meanings that fit the initials, going so far as to make up long stories to explain the origins that do not match the actual origin story at all. Since beginning this practice, Punk has stated CM stands for "Cookie Monster", "Cookie Master", "Crooked Moonsault", "Chuck Mosley", "Charles Montgomery", "Charles Manson", "Crazy Mariachi", "Chicago Made", "Championship Material" and "Cole Miner" among others.

He needs donations and lot of them. I could see if he had his own money as the seed but he doesn't. Its easy to say things when you don't have any of your money invested in the project.

* McMahon discussed the new WWE, stating that they wouldn’t leave the current product model, but would be using their expertise in television production, live event production and licensing to create new revenue prospects for the company with other acquisitions and projects.

* They took on a loss of $1.5 million on The Chaperone, because they now take on all the costs of marketing and advertising themselves as part of their self-distribution of the film.

* McMahon noted that they would have two new live event programs, and that it would happen in the not too distance future. He also said finding a home for them would not be a problem. McMahon also stated that Edge’s unexpected retirement wouldn’t effect their bottom line because they are doing so well with developing talents.

* On current storylines, McMahon said that Rock’s return has brought them greater awareness by having older names mix it up with the new WWE talent, naming Miz and Alberto Del Rio.

You should add that there stock has dropped significantly since Dec 2010. Not that it was worth anything before but for a stock that does nothing, a four dollar drop is significant.
