Wrestling Thread May27-June9 | 6/6 Impact LIVE - Quinton RAMPAGE Jackson Appears Tonight

Wtf, so Wade was just walking right out with Miz?

Timing was really bad there.  I thought the same thing.  They basically walked through the curtain together.

I need to see a Perfectplex onto the steel chair
As everyone is aware, I already think Curtis Angle is a bum and see no upside for him ever in WWE.  WWE buried him again tonight with Steph, Vince, and HHH all speaking of him as a joke. And of course the main event result...

However, if WWE does have any serious plans for him (which I doubt the do), I wouldn't model him after Mr. Perfect.  We saw what happened when they tried to model Ted Dibiase after the Million Dollar Man.  Being a knockoff version of your father is never going to get you over.  You need your own identity.

Another Raw passes another week with 4wrestling on my ****. WWE wouldn't have the whole idea of creating another Paul Heyman guy if they didn't have plans for him. Honestly with the way WWE has booked it wrestlers over the last couple years, it honestly doesn't matter anymore they will create another star as they see fit. Look how they did Sheamus, one year he's a beast even beating HHH at WM, the next he's getting buried by HHH like nothing happened and then bam he's back on top. If HHH believes in you, you'll be a star.

If they gonna have Axel use the Perfect Plex they need have him do it on guys like Henry or Show

Dibiase Jr was always a chump though people were behind Rhodes way more than him.

They are gonna blow it with Bryan somehow I have this feeling.

I want 4wrestling at NT King of the Ring

So maybe that's the angle for curtis . I'm not a perfect wrestler. Makes his finsisher the imperfection

Boom third tier super star

My honest opinion on Axel is he is there because they wanted to keep Heyman on tv until Punk comes back.  Once Punk and Heyman are back together (and even moreso with Brock), Axel will just fade away to Superstars.

WWE knows what they have with Daniel Bryan.  He may never get the Cena type push he probably rightfully deserves, but he's never going to be just a midcard guy either.  WWE recognizes his in ring talent, charisma, and connection with the fans.  I'm pretty confident he's going to be a perennial top of the card guy for the rest of his career, much like Jericho.

Jack Swagger again wasn't at Raw last night (he was not physically at the show).  He wasn't at last week's shows because of them being in Canada and his legal issues preventing him from crossing the border.  However, Court Bauer did hint last week that there could be some cuts coming in WWE.  Could Swagger's DUI before Mania finally be catching up to him?

Has anyone noticed there are no storylines in the WWE anymore except Ryback vs Cena? i think thats why people couldn't care less about the product because there's nothing to hold our interests. Who cares that Sheamus wins his matches or that Kofi wins his 87th mid card title. Barrett could be so much more if he wasn't stuck with that license to Job intercontinental title.

I'm a fan of his in ring work but overall he sucks and has sucked since leaving ECW.

I am gonna ride the Axel bandwagon til the wheels fall off. I think they gonna make him a star, not Cena, but they gonna make em work.

Bryan having a Jericho career would be alright with me :hat

I still wanna throw your cat in the river....

Dolph Ziggler passed his imPact testing yesterday and has been cleared going forward.  This will likely add Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio for the world title to the 6/16 Payback PPV show.

Even though I've been open to the idea of a Curtis push I'm not willing to look over the glaring problems with the wrestler. He's Mr Mediocre.

I know we've been told by countless ex-wrestling stars that he's born to be a star in interviews but in years of watching him nothing has screamed excellent, great, or good.

He's ever unchanging. He's disappointing. He has been since we all first saw him years ago, and yes, I watch NXT, and recognize his growth form the time he spent there, it still doesn't take away from the fact that he's blowing it on the big stage again. (His best performance since the renewed push has come on a show no one watches, SmackDown)

He barely cuts the mustard.

Todd Keneley, who had been announcing with TNA since October, was told that Slammiversary was going to be his final assignment.

The original idea was to do like Nitro with Keneley & Jeremy Borash in the first hour, and Mike Tenay & Taz as "the veteran announce team" doing the second hour.  Borash was dropped quickly and it turned into a three-man team.

EDIT: ARGGGHHH, just saw 4wrestling post this. *FAIL*

What do you guys think about this?

"For those asking, yes, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is TNA’s “big” signing. It’s a pretty big deal as anyone who has followed UFC/MMA knows that “Rampage” has always been interested in pro wrestling and can cut one hell of a promo. The signing has a lot of people excited about his upcoming debut. As of now, plans are in place to bring “Rampage” in to both TNA and Bellator in the fall. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more."

-- For those still holding out hope for a John Cena heel turn, the company just signed a deal with K-Mart to market John Cena "Never Give Up" merchandise for children starting in stores this fall. "I am excited to announce WWE's relationship with Kmart and bring the Never Give Up by John Cena collection to all of our young fans," said Cena. "For the first time ever, young shoppers will be able to go to Kmart and find a new line of apparel that expresses my lifestyle and my never give up attitude."

4w, has Meltzer ever gotten bashed by anyone in WCW/WWE over the years for leaks?

I know he's been doing it since the 80's but he has to have enemies in the biz.
