Just reserved mine for pickup at a local Gamestop. I'll trade in my current XB1 to knock a little something off the price tag.

EARLY ACCESS REVIEW

Posted: July 26

Welcome to Wellington Wells, the beautiful 1960s Utopia where nothing bad has ever happened and everything is perfect and happy as can be! Just ask the locals! Why, they're all absolutely beaming with Joy! Be sure to stock up on your own Joy, because you wouldn't want to run out in this city. Then you'd be a Downer, and we don't take kindly to Downers here.
So you better be on your best behavior, or else the villagers will break your legs! And then where would you be? You'll be writhing on the ground, won't you? Ahaha, Downers...

On a serious note, however. If you're looking for a dystopian survival game full of retro-futuristic aesthetics, psychological tension, paranoia and more, then you've come to the right place. Bear in mind that what you are buying right now is unfinished, and is missing a story. But where it currently lacks in story, it makes up for it in the amount of things to do. There are events and scenarios scattered around the city and the districts to find and complete, which help you gain more insight and knowledge into the history of the city. There are also tonnes of crafting recipes to discover, items to find and use, and dozens upon dozens of ways to kill or be killed.

I've been a pre-alpha player for the past year, and the team behind it all is one of the best in the industry. The amount of improvements made over the last year is phenomenal, and the continued development and openess on what's to come is what makes this a must-have for Early Access. So I couldn't recommend We Happy Few enough.

Now get in there, and don't forget your Joy!

As much as I want that Gears 4 bundle, I'm just going to pass on it. I just can't justify getting it at $450 when my current Xbox isn't even a year old. Xbox isn't even my primary console. I'm just gonna cop that Gears elite controller along with the Ultimate Edition of the game and leave it that.

Think you should skip Gears altogether and get that Destiny Rise of Iron.

Nah jokes aside how do you even know it's going to be good? I could have sworn you guys, the consensus, said the beta wasn't good, didn't live up to what you thought it was going to be, and it barely worked because it was glitch city...worse than Halo MCC

nobody said the beta was bad. it didnt do a good job of showing anything really different than what we've gotten before. idk where you saw that it was worse matchmaking than MCC not even comparable
