i just finished a session of online play on 2k10 on xbox live. i played pickup games with my player as well as quick games online. i don't have xbox livegold; how was i able to do that?

looks like you got over on the man
but if you just got your xbox 360, you get a 30 day trial..
you can also just keep changing screen names/e-mails to get 30 day trials if you dont care about your gamerscore

im pretty sure this weekend was free gold membership for everyone to let people try out the twitter, facebook, and last.fm stuff. also COD came out, so im surethey want people with silver memberships to upgrade.

it was on the xbox dashboard but I just didn't play 360 this wkend so I never knew. got a few COD4 matches in and a teamup match of 2k9. I was doing it upin the 2k9 teamup match until there was lag like I've never seen, prolly from people quitting the match or something. smh @ me for not having COD MW2 and2K10 too cuz I wanted to wait till Christmas.
