I spent 500$ on the Patent leather AJ 1s from FC.. My all time favorite shoe,had them when i was 12.. Bought fakes all the way up til i was 17 before i gave up.. Finally pulled the trigger on the FC rape because my Collection would have never been completely without those particular pair of Shoes.. Take away every pair i owe.. But jus leave my 1s.. 500$ for my Childhood memories all in a pair of shoes was not that Big of a deal after looking for those shoes for sooooo Long..

Regardless of what resell is in 10 years, 500 is a lot for shoes. Just because you sell 3 pairs that you dont wear to pay for them doesn't make them not $500.

I don't care how anyone spends their money, but this way of thinking is why reselling is so out of control right now.

I wasnt buying them on purpose.. Getting scammed,sites posting pics of the real Shoes and when they come in they would be missing the jumpman.. Missing the flight bubble.. Missing patent leather in some spots.. I NEVER bought fakes on purpose.. Thats retarted.. Lmao,

$500 is a lot for kicks... Ive never spent that much on ANY pair of shoes... very few Id even think about dropping that much money on, and it for damn sure wouldnt be something that recently released. Some of these dudes spend that much a week since the prelude pack dropped... if you spent at least $350 (if you're lucky to find pairs for that) a week, thats $2100 already, in 6 weks... thats a small vacation.

Nike is sitting back with $$ in their eyes with this prelude pack. The 8s that are currently out, that retail for 140-160, now their charging $200 because its associated with this pack? 4s were only $120... $80 mark up for nothing (there were pairs of 4s that had extra details too, so dont give me that details bs), not even a different box. Then they read forums like this, and see people dropping $400+ like nothing, and people saying $500 is nothing... Execs sitting back like CHA-CHING!!

This hobby/culture/game/whatever the hell you want to call it these days has done a complete 180 from what it used to be.

Just because its an expensive hobby, doesnt mean you have to be stupid about spending money.... unless you have it to spend like that.

No, i could never wear kicks that i KNOW FOR A FACT that are fake.. But back then,other kids wasnt so familiar With shoes so i would trade for pairs of their shoes.. I even think they are gonna do something similar and release Lebrons retoes this way.

lebron prelude will over really hyped up probably double resale of lobes 

i personally like lobes more

but if lebron prelude release i would get 7-10 only ones i like i don't care about 1-6 or

i read somewhere only with the tinker interview that they will start to retro lobes very soon but this prelude pack has a story behind it, while future retro will be something along the line of jordan retros

they even did a trial retro with melo 

so most likely lebron will be next probably waiting to see if he can 3peat to release to hype it even more. but i really hope another team win i know lakers have no chance this year but with cap space next year i think we will have great chance with a health kobe and 1 more superstar

KDs probably wont be TOO bad, but you never know... beasts might flock to that because it wont be as hard as the Kobes or as the Lebrons will be... Im good on both of those tho... Im selling off the few KDs I have, wont fall for a postlude (like all the new Kobes fans are falling for preludes) just because Nike wants me to....

I can see this being an annual thing now. Before every new player sig nike releases retro pairs. Retro pairs, preheat, official release. All that $$$
