WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Deadpool & Wolverine = 07/26/24

Fan theory was going around that Life (the new Sony film) was going to be an origin for the Symbiote. Critics who've seen it debunked that tho :lol The fan conspiracy that's spreading is that Sony announced Venom as basically a threat to Disney and hopes that it makes them want to purchase the...

    NT Book Club Vol. WDYRTD

Picked up Shoe Dog by Phil Knight and Modern Romance by Aziz this month. I'm a slow reader in the sense that I take week long breaks between chapters but I'm trying to finish both this month :lol

The lady who plays Melanie said “There's a very interesting twist in literally the last seconds of episode 8.” :lol People are gonna be pissed. It's surprising that Reddit is honestly the only place where this show is generating a lot of discussion.

I don't think it's bad to reveal in a promo, especially if it's something that's handled relatively early in the episode. It's helpful to show that we're actually going to real answers next week (TBH this week felt filler-ish compared to the last few) and "Shadow King" doesn't mean anything to...

WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Deadpool & Wolverine = 07/26/24

That netflix post was like 5 paragraphs long and i broke down how the tropes the plague the genre as a whole are abundant it every iteration of every comic adaptation but those are usually films and require 2 hour investments, instead of 13. But I said **** it because it's was just me finding 20...

WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Deadpool & Wolverine = 07/26/24

Yeah, the plots are all different but it feels like they more or less recycle the same tropes to move the action forward. The friends all function the same, the love interest is really just there to be either in the way or hurt/killed and there's always an old black dude who has to get smoked...

I honestly don't see myself devoting 13 hours to another Marvel Netflix series outside of maybe Punisher. It's almost painfully formulaic to me right now I haven't even watched Luke Cage :lol

FOX *CBM thread - RIP STAN LEE - Dark PhoeniX 06/07/19

I thought Boyd Holbrook was lowkey amazing in this :lol Something about the swag he had while on screen. He played sleezy, redneck scum a little too well. After the first scene i was 100% in. No origin or back story needed.
