This. I've had 2 pairs of those Tn Air (the "sharks") for close to 12 years and the foam hasn't broken up at all (it just yellowed). I just kept em in their box and beat the %$%# out of them over the years as well. pro-tip: STOP TREATING YOUR SHOES LIKE ANCIENT RELICS

Another question seeing as I'm about to pick these up online: how do these fit? My Vred VI's are size 12 btw, should I get them size 12 as well or go up/down half size?

hmm lol, these have been on sale no-stop in my country since 1997, got an identical pair (with gold swooshes though) for my gf like 6 months ago or so. As far as I recall they've never been discontinued. We call them "le silver" ("the silver ones").

Cuz the latest models look like crap I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole. Besides, Sakuragi Hanamichi wore the VI's, that's enough of a reason to make them timeless classics, even to the youngsters.

waterproofed mine with Footlocker sneaker protector and damn, now the suede looks even more nicer (imho, it looks better than Durabuck). As a Retro+ this shoe is all-around amazing.
