only way bolt couldve made it look any easier than that quarters was if he crossed the line doing cartwheels.

bershawn with the tweaked hammie, hopefully it will hold up enough to get on the podium. but he got off to a slow slow start. as im writing this Angelo justgot bounced from the 400 hurdles

that last hurdle was a disaster withthat stutter step and sideways b.s .. hes done! classic case of not taking the prelims not serious enough (unless hes injured and we dont know)

I'm looking at the START LIST for the 400m Semi's and it doesn't look easy at all for anyone. It's 3 Semi's (I hate this method) with theTop 2 in each plus the next 2 fastest, for the USA looks like Sanya will be the only rep in the Finals if she runs a good race.

Heat 1 won by De Mora (Brazil) & Shelly-Ann Fraser (JAM) in 11.41 with one great start.

Heat 3 won by Carmelita Jeter (USA) in 11.22

Heat 5 won by Aileen Bailey (JAM) in 11.30.
Heat 6 won by Veronica Campbell-Brown (JAM) in 11.41 whose the Defending World Champion in the 100 & 2 time Olympic200 Champion.
Heat 7 won by Lauryn Williams (USA) in 11.37 whose the Defending Silver Medalist at the last World Championships.
Heat 9 won by Kelly-Ann Baptiste (TRI) in 11.42 & Muna Lee (USA) finishing 2nd in 11.44


Round 2 later this afternoon around Noon EST.
Heat 8 won by Chandra Sturrup (BAH) in 11.28 looked great! and there was a 400 Pound Woman in this race true story.
 
The mens 100 will be on around 4-5 pm here in tha UK so thats late morning early afternoon Eastern time.

Its gonna be a great race for silver n bronze

Im not convinced with Gay or Asafa to medal there was alot of other quick times and good performances

Chambers and Bailey will challenge Gay and Asafa but nobodys beating Usain.

Jessica Ennis lookin good to win the Heptathalon for Great Britain keep it up girl

Women's 100 Round 2 is on now

Heat 1 won by Kerron Stewart (JAM) in 10.92, Chaundra Sturrup (BAH) in 2nd with 11.06.
Heat 2 won by Lauryn Williams (USA) in 11.06, Aileen Bailey (JAM) in 2nd with 11.12.
Heat 3 won by Veronica Campbell-Brown (JAM) in 10.99, Debbie Ferguson-MacKenzie (BAH) in 2nd 11.08 and Muna Lee (USA)in 3rd 11.13 all advancing.
Heat 4 won by Carmelita Jeter (USA) in 10.94 great start by her, Shelly-Ann Fraser (JAM) in 11.02 and Kelly-AnnBaptiste (TRI) in 11.05.


Shaping up to be one of the best Women's 100m Finals in WC History.
 
kerron just dominated her race with that 10.92. a very good start certainly helped. Sturrup had a great start too just not the same top speed as kerron. thewomens 100 finals at this rate should be
