☆☆ 2012 NBA Finals ☆☆ The King has been crowned; Heat win 2012 NBA Finals! Bron Finals MVP.

I do know how old Kevin Durant is. My point is if that version of LeBron is better, I'm thinking it's very possible the 27 year old version trumps him as well.  22 year old LeBron took that piece of crap '07 Cavs team to the Finals. Then came back at 23 and went toe to toe with the eventual champs and put up 45 on the road in a Game 7. If KD is better...that type of stuff should be coming this year, and I think it could, and I at least expect him in the Finals..but I don't know for sure.
If post-season success is what keeps from people putting Lebron as #1 but now we're going to preordain KD when his regular season, post-season, individual & team achievements don't match up (not even with LeBron now but with LeBron then)? We need to see LeBron do certain things for affirmation but we'd be ready to give KD these titles with doing and showing even less. This makes little sense to me. I know some people jumped the gun calling LeBron > Kobe but I think most waited until he had the Finals appearance and then took his game to another level in the spring of '08 into 08-09 season.

Kevin Durant was a better shooter then LeBron is now in college already

did I dispute this? LeBron was a better facilitator at 16 than KD is at 23. each have their own strengths and weaknesses.

I want to know where that guy went.

Not my goal.  I was talking about their game only.  What they do on the court, game 1 of preseason, or game 7 of a finals.  Hell, a pick up game.  I think that what Durant does on offense is more diverse and harder to deal with than what Bron provides.  And while Bron adds more on D, I don't think Durant is all that far off that he completely falls back to Lebron.  That has nothing to do with team success, teammates, this game or that game, just what I have seen from them over the years.

Now, if Lebron really really gets that post game goin, I may change my mind this year.  I want to see more.  I like that he's taking less 3's for now, but he'll need to re-incorporate that back into his game at some point, and maybe he will.  But imo, right now, Durants mid range is >>>>Bron's.  I'm sure some site will say I'm stupid, I don't give a crap about that, I never sweat Bron's J, I assume every single one of Durant's are going in, just seems that good of stroke.

I know that's how you judge things and I am the same, we just share different views and may value things differently...others I have heard for 4 years now it's all about rings, clutch moments, etc. If they were to take that stance with KD now I think it'd invalidate 98.9% of prior arguments.

I love Harden also but when James makes the all nba 2nd team then we can have that conversation.

no, its top votes. 2 guards, 2 forwards, 1 center.

Rondo has a chance to make it on as a reserve but the other 3 aint making it.

Wall has hit the worst sophomore slump I've ever seen.. hey at least we didn't take Evan Turner
ohwell.gif

Harden has the better bball iq which isvery important when you watch Russ' game but that's about where it ends.

Evan Turner has slowly been playing well though, almost had a triple-double the other night.  Should have never been the #2 pick but he is going to be a solid player undoubtedly.

Am I the only one that doesn't want my team's players in the all star game? I'd rather have them rest.

Bynum finally about to get his due as an All-Star. Well deserved.

Playing in an All-Star game is the closest thing you can get to a rest.

Wall will be fine. Aside from his combination of size, strength and speed... he has the undefinable quality that all the stars of today and tomorrow possess.

Shaq with the inadvertent cuss as they were going to commercial. Sports broadcast school did him well.

Am I tripping or did Shaq drop a S bomb at the end of that first segment when they were going to a commercial?

Not really, in the grand scheme of things it wasnt much of a choice... I mean you can count how many centers are in the west on a high schools woodshop teachers hand. So .......
