I know it's the same network and they're using some of old cast from The Wire, but did anyone catch Cohle saying "Sheee-it" during one of the interrogation scenes? I got a good chuckle out of it....

Body is ready...I really rock with HBO and most of their series.
-the monologues are dope
-Hart is really on that LSD trip, the main thing that makes the episodes very interesting and keeps me watching
-the Muslim brother from the wire lol
-shorty Hart is smashing is superbad! was watching with my girl and could sense her jealousy/salt

at the trailers they continue to show before each episode? I basically Looking away for the first 30 seconds every episode now... I shouldn't be surprised though, it is HBO.

3 eps in & the only thing I find more interesting is what Cohle's gonna run out of 1st...smokes, lone star tallboys or dry up that flask.

Rust Cohle just became one of my fav fictional characters. Granted it's a bit of self indulgence with his view of the religious. A little too cynical and nihilistic but that's probably due to the life he's lived.

Even before the ending I gotta say this show makes Louisiana a place that you'd want to call hell. This one scene as they're driving you get a good look at the land with all of the swampy puddles and dead trees and stuff. It really doesn't seem like a place you want to visit.

The cinematography is so on point ,one of the finest looking shows I've seen from scene to scene. It doesn't look like a TV show,looks more like a top notch film

Who cares, a Louisiana accent isn't important. Hell, if you speak with a Louisiana accent your IQ level is probably hovering around 65 and you wouldn't be an actor anyways.

Some of the most educated & well spoken people I know (personally) are from Louisiana & educated from colleges in Louisiana.
James Carville is an old family friend of my godfather's & just about when of the most genuinely smart & savy man I've ever personally met (several times).
I guess people tend to have a very myopic view of things on message boards...

And to think, I took the doll scene was a 'reenactment' of Rust's daughter dying; a young girl who was a car accident victim, people hovering around her. But I guess it makes more sense because IIRC, the young girl doll was undressed.
