Right, and i think once he cracks into the senior squad more, he'll get some minutes here and there in Liga games, and all the early Copa del Rey games to get the defensive experience he needs. Plus he is 20 years old. Plenty of time to wait and move up, or even go on loan for a year or so.I think Samper has the bigger upside. Unlike Sergio, Samper is more adapt at penetrating with a great pass or his dribble into the opposition. The only thing he hasn't proven yet is if he's able to handle the defensive roles consistently on a larger stage. It's actually fun watching this kid play the pivot.
