Danny told Brad to "showcase" Carsen, Semi and Javonte

Barnes would have made sense, but are Sacramento selling? He's having a career year. Maybe the 2 years left on his contract aren't appealing to the Kings.

Sac is over .500 and in the playoff picture now. Barnes has been playing well for them. They might consider some moves, but I don’t think moving Barnes would be one of them.

Don't see Sacramento being sellers unless they really fall off over the next month and a half. They haven't made the playoffs in 15 years.

Orlando is the team to watch.

Content like this doesn't do anything for you BIG LEEMELONE BIG LEEMELONE ?

Real talk, I think you might have a preconceived idea what basketball podcasts are about that turns you off to them.

Once you get your car out the shop, you can just listen while you are driving like niceshoes247 niceshoes247 said.

WHole convo. You don't HAVE to WATCH it. (Just LISTEN)

The game is at another level. I know you said that you made the team with Vancouver, but I want you to get on a court, sprint corner to corner, stop on a dime and shoot a 3. I want you to do 10 of those. Then I want you to focus on how tired you are. Because these players do that for 48 minutes. I don’t think guys from 20 years ago could play in this game. Twenty years ago, guys used their hands to control players. Now you can’t use your hands. That makes defense damn near impossible. Can you imagine not hand-checking Michael Jordan? Naw. The fact that you can’t touch players gives the offensive player so much flexibility. Defensive players have to take angles away and stuff like that. But if you have any creativity and ambition, you can be a great offensive player in this league. The fadeaways, one-leg runners, the one-leg balance shots — that’s stuff that Dirk Nowitzki brought to our game. And now when I watch
Joker play, it feels like he has taken that Dirkness and mixed it with his own talent. And Steph Curry revolutionized things with being able to shoot it from distance with such consistency. Klay Thompson. Dame Lillard. These guards changed the game. I don’t know if even the guards from 20 or 30 years ago could play in this time right here. It’s creative. It’s competitive. It’s saucy. You’ll get dropped! A [expletive] will cross you over and break your A.C.L. these days. The game is in a great place.

It's always mind boggling to me how former NBA players can acknowledge how the skill level of players have progressed but let your everyday 50 year old barbershop patron tell it....

I wonder which specific time period he is referring to as his "Generation."

But, some of the PG's of his era were the God Father's of the current model of PG.

Gil Arenas, Baron, Steph, Steve Francis, Iverson., Tony Parker.

Score first, ask questions later types.
Those guards could all definitely play. My brain immediately goes to the 2-4 spots. A lot of those traditional PFs for sure. Not the stars obviously, but the random rotation guys.

I feel like the SG position would be fine man.

Kobe, Ray Allen ( addict4sneakers addict4sneakers ), Finley, Cuttino, Vince, TMAC (When he played the 2), J Rich, Rip.

The Shooting/Skill @ the 3 Spot wasn't as mandatory as it is today.

THe 4 Spot was Elite during that era. No need to talk about those dudes.

The Center spot has evolved for sure. More athletes these days. The position was already transitioning during the late 90s/Early 00s.

Yeah I guess I wasn't even really considering all-star level players at all for the sake of this convo as they'd all be good in any generation. I was just thinking about normal rotation players.

Finley was really good but he had a 2 dribble limit for the most part of his career. Like a Harrison Barnes. Same with Jason Richardson. They would be at the same level now as they were then, second tier 2s. RIP too

Yea, I wouldn't expect those folks to be Stars today either.
