Weird game for Jake with the 11 Ks and 3 solo homers. Not worrisome bc the Braves are THAT GOOD.
Tough debut for the rook. His first game was very similar to Vientos in that they're both power guys who came out swinging at everything and falling behind in every at-bat. Not a good recipe but they both will learn to be more patient (we hope) and get better.
Hopefully Max shows out tomorrow.

I'd argue Degrom and Scherzer we're effective and did their jobs. Atlanta leads the NL in homeruns if I'm not mistaken.

Sucks we couldn't at least salvage the series and really the division. Had it all in front of us, and now the path gets a bit harder. Can't determine whether possibly blessing to have to beat the Dodgers 3 instead 4 times though, but need to get past the WildCard whoever that ends up being.
