Wentz definitely struggled but QB production and O Line go hand in hand. He was getting crushed that first half so even tho he missed some throws second half, it's because mentally he's rushing. If you get hit within 2-3 seconds each time and you drop back and 2 seconds go by, you're throwing a rushed pass even if nobody was near you because in your head you're about to get sacked. Then he'd trust the protection and hold the ball and end up sacked or stripped

this last Baldy video, ZERO excuses for those misses by Wentz. That had nothing to do with the line, it’s him. I hate how he can wow you with one throw yet completely blow the routine ones. Elite quarterbacks don’t miss the type of throws he did today

What threw me off was how often they were using PA with Carson under center, and how often he was in empty sets. Really poor on Doug’s part.

just heard this stat on a podcast. Carson Wentz has only 5 pass throwaways....in his career. That is ridiculous, these coaches aren’t hard enough on him clearly

Cowboys losing tonight is huge. Makes it a 15 game season at this point. Football Team and Giants aren't a real threat to win the division even if they both start 3-0

-No preseason
-Shortened training camp
-No fans

A lot of adjustments need to be made. Give it a few weeks before we start blowing up this squad. We got a looootttttt of football to be played.

Bad gameplan by Doug is probably the biggest factor. None of the stuff we did down the stretch last year with Wentz (quick game, moving him out the pocket etc) was on display outside of the scripted first 15-20. That’s on Doug

It was like Doug had a script to “showcase speed” and when the O line got injured, he stuck to it
