I've seen haslem play a considerable amount of basketball. He has no place on the lakers squad. Dude has almost no offensive game

I agree simply because Odom brings a scoring option to the second unit, as well as a valuable piece to the 1st. He doesnt start, but he will finish the game. His intangibles are priceless... Haslem brings it every night, and can rebound/putback, plays some Defense.....only issue is i believe Josh Powell can fill that role already, and has a better jumper than Haslem already. He just needs to improve his D, otherwise IMO they're the same.
Bottom Line...Hope Odom comes back
he was the one guarding kobe..and no..i didnt watch all those games, i watched the previous two season, and thought to myself. "man kobealways plays bad against the nets"...then i looked at the other seasons when carter was in town, and kobe still does badOriginally Posted by Goldmember
Ummm.. so VC was the reason for all of that?Originally Posted by imINchucks5

the magic look promising.
and kobe always seem to have a hard time against carter
Everytime the play against each other.. Kobe always goes hard on him.. he even tries to toy with him a little bit.. i always noticed Kobe bringing out some fancy dribbles or whatnot to make VC look like a fool..
kobe vs nets in 2008 in 2 games...he averaged 13 pts 3 rebs 6ast shooting 27% from the field (5-1 35mpg
kobe vs nets in 2007 in 2 games...he averaged 18pts 4rebs 7ast while shooting 29% from the field (5-17) 40mpg
kobe vs nets in 2006 in 2 games...he averaged 20pts 6rebs 10ast 4.5TO'swhile shooting 32% from the field (6-1 41mpg
kobe vs nets in 2005 in 2 games...he averaged 35pts 2rebs 7ast 6TO's while shooting 38% from the field (11-30) 47mpg
kobe is the better play we know that...but when they go up against each other kobe seems to always have a hard time..
Did you watched all that games?
I'm just asking cause i cant remember most of that games..im only referring to the ones i watched..
I know for the fact that Kobe always seemed to force plays (add the fancy stuffs that i mentioned earlier) when goin up against VC ..and that causes him a LOT of turnovers..

Leave Odom alone man. This is the only time he's ever been wanted in his whole career. Instead of teams trying to get rid of him, they're finally fighting for him. He's milking this for all it's worth.
Rivals Seem To Appreciate Odom's Value More Than The Lakers
If Lamar Odom does not re-sign with the Lakers, the clear consensus is that the balance of power will shift in the Western Conference.
"If he goes somewhere else, they're vulnerable," a Western Conference general manager said Wednesday. "With him, they're the favorites."
Said one West advance scout: "I definitely would think it's unanimous in the league that if Lamar goes somewhere else, well at the very least in the West, that it gives you a glimmer of hope that even if Kobe plays great you're right there with them."
There is a statistic that provides a true indication of Odom's value: individual plus-minus. Odom finished the 2008-09 season with a team-best +693 plus-minus - better than both Bryant (+659) and Gasol (+572). Moreover, the only NBA player with a higher plus-minus than Odom's was Cleveland's LeBron James(notes) (+871).
"It's about being able to pass, dribble and shoot," a longtime NBA assistant coach said. "[Odom] can pass, dribble and shoot. You take all three of those things away from a team and it hurts you. You're taking away a guy that can do all that."
