No after I heard this report I don't. I just hope he didn't play this game and now made Jerry Buss mad and think twice about signing him. Once theowner is mad and takes a look at his salaries he might not wanna sign him. But I do think his eating habits bothers them cause why would they lower the dealand add incentives? They still are giving him the most money but he just needs to sign before Buss changes his mind again...

I don't think the Lakers expected Odom to play these games and that's why they let Ariza walk. If they would've known Odom was gonna do this theyprobably would've kept Ariza instead. ODOM PLEASE SMARTIN' UP!!!

u cant put this solely on odom, yeah he didnt sign the initial offer..but is it that big of a deal to buss to not put that offer back on the table?? is anextra year really going to kill u buss?? and ric bucher, and marc stein were saying this

.. The only reason I didn't want him was because I honestly thought he didn't want to stay. If he does end up leaving its his ownfault. He said he wanted to stay and the Lakers offered him a good contract. He should of never started playing games with the owner. No other teams were evenclose to offering the same amount of money per year. I really hope he pulls his head out of his *** and signs. This whole situation makes my stomachuneasy

Odom will sign a four-year contract, with the fourth year at the Lakers' option.
One source with knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com the four-year deal is worth $33 million if the Lakers exercise the final year of the contract.
Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak declined comment. Odom's agent, Jeff Schwartz, did not return a message immediately.
