2010 NBA Trade Deadline thread

Kobe + Bosh + Pau = They're not losing to anybody.

Andrew Bynum for Chris Bosh is a no-brainer.

can we plzzzzzzzzz stop talking about that trade?

i dont even want to think about what kind of dynasty would be started because of it

so yall can take that talk somewhere else

It's not happening.

Stop dreaming.

I wonder what the Raptors are going to get back for Bosh this summer? Probably a draft pick or something

.

I'm not worried about it,

I honestley belive Chris Bosh doesn't know what he is going to do, but judging based of of various interviews and different things I've read writerssay, I don't think Chris Bosh wants to be a second fiddle (let alone 3rd fiddle to Pau and Kobe) I get the vibe he wants to be the guy and he wants toprove that he belongs in the class of Melo, Lebron, and Wade.

He wants to be the guy, so if that is the case I don't really see other teams with an established superstars.

and this idea that Bosh, Lebron, and Wade made some pact, seems inconsistent with this video, but hey what do I know.

I think it's 50/50 I have no reason to believe he is a lock to do anything.

but I can guarantee you he won't be traded this season.

so he wants to be a number 1 on a sorry Raptors team?

he is paul gasol from his memphis days

Kevin martin/jason thompson for chris bosh maybe? That is of course if Bosh will resign with the Kings......which is just as unlikely as the kings being ableto get bosh.

Yeah, I doubt Chris Bosh would re-sign with the Kings. I don't think the Kings will make any noise with the big players this off-season. Thelast big FA that signed with the Kings was Vlade Divac... All they can do is draft good players and make some trades.

you seen Chris Bosh play this year?

Nobody would have a chance to beat LA.

Not like Pau can't be a 5 man anyway.

yup. but the thing i think that is holding that up is the lakers prolly want Bosh to stay around after this season.

mark my words.hes gonna either be traded to the lakers or mavericks.

and why do the cavs always go after trash?? they need to trade for a legit second option not more mediocre trash

If we assume this is true (which it may not be) and he wants to be the number one guy.
"This is the position you want to be in," said Bosh. "I always tell people when we were kids shooting in the back yard or in the park or something like that, you (dream about being) `the man' taking the last shot. You (don't dream about being) in the corner, giving a high five after `the man' hits it. You think about being the best player on the court. And I've been really blessed to be a focal point, and I think that's really cool. It's crazy that it actually happened because I dreamt about it so much.
That, at least to me doesn't sound like a dude who wants to be Kobe, Wade or Lebron's pick setter. but that's just me.

If that's the case show me a team without an established superstar that has a better chance of winning than the Raptors. (a team that is 21-20 and had oneof the toughest first schedules in the league) Who does that leave because were going to be a 5-6 seed our second half schedule is soft.

What makes you think he is a lock to leave?

Jesus Christ, Bosh looks like he did the facial diagram for James Camerons Avatar.

Sorry that has nothing to do with the topic. But the still from the video just made me think of Avatar.

CAN WE STOP TALKING ABOUT BYNUM FOR BOSH? IT AIN'T HAPPENING.

Lets talk about other fairy tale Mickey Mouse trades. What do you guys think about LeBron for Al Harrington? LeBron is leaving anyways right? Cleveland mightas well trade him. But wait! It might be a bad idea for the Knicks since LeBron does not fit D'Antoni's system.

Dywane Wade for Joakim Noah. What do you guys think? Miami need a long-term starting big man and Wade does not seem committed to staying with them.

Dirk Nowitzki for Marcus Camby. What do you guys say? Nowitzki is likely to opt out this summer in order to get a long term deal. He hasn't worked out inDallas, perhaps the Mavs should get Camby because he is a more traditional post defender.

If you're going to discuss rumored trades, at least consider how REALISTIC they are. Bynum for Bosh is not a realistic trade. Period. Bosh is not gettingtraded before the deadline. Period.

How is bynum for bosh not a realistic trade?

If the raptors felt they have no shot and resigning bosh this summer trading blah for a center who has the talent to be 20 and 10 would be the best trade offerthey would proably get

And I don't know why some of yall get butt hurt over us talking about a trade rumor

If you're Bosh, do you say to Toronto's front office that you will not re-sign so they move him now, he has a chance to win a ring this year, thenworry about the money later?

Bynum is probably the best offer they would get, LA wouldn't be able to max Bosh out, but they could still make him a rich man, and he certainly wouldalready know he could win titles for 3-4 years.

So, do you say something if you're Bosh, or just sit tight and see what happens?

Cuz if he signs with some random team for just tons of money and no shot at winning, what's the point?

Cp I think because bosh would be the lakers free agent they could max him out. Now they would be paying the tax for it

Bosh to the Lakers for Bynum (What the hell? No Way)
Tmac to the Wizards for Butler and another player (YEAH RIGHT!)
Kevin Martin to the Raptors for Calderon (Doubt It.)
Kevin Martin for the Wolves for Al Jefferson (NA!)

Hmmm, I guess that makes sense. But Kobe, Pau, Bosh all max deals, then cash for Odom and Artest, our payroll would make the Yankees jealous.

Bosh to OKC sounds nice. Bosh, Durant, Harden, Westbrook......that's a solid solid core, a little bit more ready to do work now then with Green. They size that up with some nice role players and that group is good to go.

Here's the latest...

ilgauskas (Cavs) for West (Hornets)

Wow...just WOW, talk about one sided if it goes down. West would give Cavs dependable low cost scoring and a true second person who could get you 20 every night especially in the playoffs just in case Mo Williams has a repeat of his series against the Magic last year
Wow, if that happens Cavs are favored to come out of the East and right up there with the Lakers as favorites for the Chip.
