Yes they did. Oregon can most defintely get back, but LSU has the speed and athleticism that AU had.. I just wish they would move one primetime game back to like 8:30 or 9

Fairley damn near beat Oregon himself

Sad day for the Ducks, I was really hoping Lache was gonna get some playing time and start his ascent into taking over the starting spot in a year or 2. Guess it gives Thomas more room to grow, though... maybe it'll get the NCAA off our backs too (prob not).

Same way Cal stood the ducks up. It's not a secret that those 2 defensive front 4s were the beat they faced an why they struggled the most vs both

Cam missed a few throws, Auburn could have easily had 30+ points and won more comfortably.

Oregon got beat the same way Ohio State beat em last year in the Rose Bowl, up front.

Even with Auburn front 4 in beast mode how many times did you see Oregon get stopped in the red zone for running LJ straight up the middle?

It wasnt until Kelly woke up and decided to hit the flats and pitch options that Oregon started scoring and driving.....by that time it was little too late....they lost by a field goal

they would have went into over time Oregon woulda had em......but cant talk about the what ifs so a L is a L

I just know they will beat LSU! If they dont I will return in this thread without a flame suit and get ready for the roast

Four LSU players including starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson will be taken in police custody Monday, according to a SportsNOLA.com source with the Baton Rouge Police Department.

Jefferson and numerous teammates were allegedly involved in a fight early Friday morning outside of Shady's, an off-campus bar. Four people were injured in the incident and are reportedly pondering legal action.

"Whatever legal proceedings that are ongoing we will cooperate with and see how that all figures," said LSU head coach Les Miles in a press conference earlier Saturday. "I know that (the police) are still gathering information and at the appropriate time we will take strong action."

The news comes two weeks before LSU, ranked 4th in the preseason coaches and AP polls, faces 3rd-ranked Oregon in the season opener at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, TX.

Jefferson and redshirt offensive tackle Chris Davenport face second degree battery charges while junior starting defensive tackle Josh Downs and freshman wide receiver Jarvis Landry will be charged with simple battery.

If found guilty of second degree battery, Jefferson and Davenport could face as serious a punishment as three to five years in prison and up to a $2,000 fine.

None players in this case have previous criminal records and are unlikely to face the most severe potential sentences if convicted. Downs and Landry would likely receive community service and probation if found guilty.

The arrests will likely lead to suspensions to the foursome. Jefferson has been the starting quarterback of the Tigers since late in his freshman season.

Reading reports from Michigans scrimmage today, kind of surprised by the reports on the DL. Roh, Martin, Van Bergen (on the inside
30t6p3b.gif
), and walkon Brink, who could be good but I just picture a DL version of Kovacs. Big Will is gonna be a bust barring a miracle that things click before the season starts. On offense things sound pretty positive should we get a consistent RB. Hearing Denard being compared to Vick or Troy Smith in this new O. And Wile the frosh kicker sounds pretty promising and will handle punts during Hagerups suspension.
