Tony Posada was 30lbs heavier than he was told to be showing up to Michigan and was looking at a for sure RS. I don't think he was a BCS caliber OL either. Opens up another spot for OL in the 2012 class. Would have to imagine the coaches push hard for Garnett and Banner to visit for the ND game. Odds are way against Michigan on that front but still need to get them on campus.

Gunna, this might also open up another scholly where Michigan feels comfortable and confident taking Danny OBrien.

Syracuse, N.Y. -- When the call came in March, when he heard the voice on the other end of the line telling him he was no longer needed, Mike Hart, ever the pragmatist, more or less shrugged.

After carrying the ball nearly 2,100 times for the Onondaga Central High School Tigers, the University of Michigan Wolverines and the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, Hart -- still a month shy of his 25th birthday -- had come to understand, if not embrace, the principles of the failing body.

All that running and colliding and falling had taken their toll. And if the end had come sooner than some might have otherwise expected, it seems to be Hart’s opinion that they weren’t paying attention.

I think many expect Fred Jackson to retire once his son is done at Michigan, that may be Mikes chance to get into the program.
