Denard isn't overrated.  He's just a below average pro style QB.  Nothing more, nothing less. W/o him we win 2-3 games last year, not 7.

Now that I've calmed down a tad, I still stand by these statements for the most part.

We had no business winning that game.  Deep into the third quarter, our longest drive on the day was 4 plays long.

The only position on the field where we visibly had the edge talent wise was @ QB and he can't even read coverages.

That was still the most exciting Michigan game I think I've ever see.  Michigan's defense is night and day from last year, blown coverage at the end and all.

Interesting to see if ND goes to 0-3 next week.

Nothing's changed in South Bend...

The end of the Michigan/Notre Dame game

It'll be interesting to see if Wisconsin jumps TAMU in the rankings (TAMU was off this week). I really wouldn't even have any complaints if they did. They haven't really played anybody yet, but they look really good. I love the Montee Ball and James Ball combo at RB.

I still can't believe Relf tucked the ball on that option at the end instead of stretching it out. My guess is he thought he had an easy stroll into the endzone...that Auburn dude make a heck of a play to get over and make that stop.

I need to see OU against FSU next week to say for sure, but I think LSU and Alabama are easily the two best teams in the nation. Not really going out on much of a limb, I know, but just an observation/thought from today.

Texas looked pretty bad tonight. It's a shame Mack might have finally learned tonight that Garrett Gilbert is absolute garbage, and that the team is better off playing Ash and McCoy. They looked a lot better late in the game with Ash/McCoy, Brown, and Shipley going. As bad as Texas looked, BYU looked that much worse (outside of the first 20-25 minutes). BYU's offense is pretty bad...very little big play ability. Ross Apo will become a really good WR though.

That said,.another lackluster performane by our offense
Defense looked good, kinda. Are we ever going to cover the middle
of the field? Are we ever going to not give opposing receivers
A 4 yard cushion? Frustrating.

Matt Barkley needs to finish, Lane Kiffin needs to finish. Again frustrating.

Saw some good things today as well, feel good about a lot of the
Guys from the last 2 classes, a little set back that we cant seem to get
Prater on the field. Him and Baxter both are gonna be *****in
About PT again.

I just want us to get better, we are young, outcoached but
I still feel good about next year if Matt decides to stay. So
Many athletes, hopefully gelled by then. Could be a run.

We'll see first things first lets get ready for Syracuse.
