Wow, my Steelers #3? Let's see how they bounce back from the superbowl loss. The O line isn't as bad as people think it is. Ben just needs to learn to get rid of the ball in 3-4 seconds. I like the receiver corp this year. You got vets Ward, Arnez Battle, & Jerricho Cotrey & the young guys led by Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown, & Emmanuel Sanders. That's not a bad group....Can't wait to see how it all ends up...

Charles Davis is annoying as crap this year and Marshall Faulk is actually bearable...It's like they swapped.

Ravens can take it to the Steelers and Pitt can rebound and still win the division. I don't know if Balt can do the same if they lose at home

ok.. i get the criticisms of the eagles O-line.. i get it, considering what has been shown in the preseason.. but the narrative is slightly disingenuous..

all ppl talk about is that we have 4 new players at the 5 Oline positions.. which is only technically true, because both peters and herremans were part of that Unit last year (herremans is moving from LG to RT)

but then you have to factor in the standard that was set by last year's eagles' Oline:

1) we lost our starting center (jamaal jackson) for the year in the first game of the year (vs. green bay)

2) we replaced jackson with a 2nd year 4th round pick (mike mcglynn.. who was recently cut this year.. and picked up by the bengals)

3) our 2nd best player on the Oline, herremans, missed the first 6 games of the year

4) our back-up tackle, king dunlap, was forced to start 5 games last year

5) Nick Cole (who is currently out of the league) started 8 games for us last year

6) max jean-gilles (who was recently cut by the bengals and subsequently picked up by the panthers) started 10 games for us last year

but the only reason i bring up the whole "starting 4 players at 5 of the positions" thing is this..

the 2 teams which i consider to be our main competition within the division (giants and cowboys) both have similar questions about their Olines:

the cowboys-
have a rookie at LG and RT.. and a C with only 1 career start and who was a UDFA in 2010

the giants-
have a new C.. David Diehl moves from LT to LG.. and William Beatty is the new LT

I really feel the Ravens are going to win like 12 games or 8.... I just believe it's hit or miss this year.. Making the playoffs 4 years in a row is tough, and Flacco has yet to prove he can beat Pitt..

^ That's funnny, because that's almost exactly how I feel. Maybe not as low as 8, but I've gone from thinking the Ravens will disappoint this year and might not get a Wild Card, to thinking they will actually win the division and get a first round bye.

Two questions: Does Ray Rice stay healthy now that he carries the full load? And can Flacco get over the hump and get to a top tier level?

Packers' Rodgers calls Sanchez's GQ spread 'embarrassing'

Mark Sanchez's GQ cover and accompanying photo spread might win him fans in the fashion world, but not in the NFL.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, speaking on his weekly radio show on ESPN Milwaukee, called the Jets quarterback's photo spread in September's issue "embarrassing."

"Look at this, that's embarrassing. Page 94 of this GQ thing here, that's terrible," Rodgers said.

That would be the page where Sanchez is pictured wearing white pants and a black tank top.

When asked why he didn't have a cover shoot after winning the Super Bowl, Rodgers responded, "That's not really my style. I like my anonymity, I like my privacy. I like being able to be the quarterback during the week, and in the offseason be able to do what I want to do and not be in the public eye."

And that's something that is much easier to accomplish in Green Bay than New York.

Wonder how long this neck injury will have Peyton out?

Wouldn't be surprised if he misses half or the entire season altogether.
