I think LBJ is staying in MIA. It'd be wise if Bosh and Wade took paycuts; I'm not saying that have to but they aren't worth what they are getting paid, even if Wade is playing good ball now, he sat out 1/3 of the reg season games. MIA should then bring in some some better role players.
Only way Wade takes a paycut is if they don't win the title. If they do, he has all the leverage to basically say hey you ain't winning anything without me being here. Simmons said as much last week. Blame Kobe for getting that lifetime achievement contract, but I seriously doubt Wade is walking away from $20 mil when he wouldn't get half that from anyone else at this point of his career. Bosh may end up walking and making that a mute point though.

 win with the Lebron?

I'm see lebron taking a break after this season and sitting out for next season. The talks of him being tired are growing

Why would anybody leave miami for cleveland ?

and what exactly have the cavs shown since LeBron left that would lead anyone to believe they can build a winner?

So LeBron threatening to leave wouldn't make Wade and Bosh consdier paycuts? Obviously if they don't care about winning then they will stay and collect their paychecks but I don't see them winning any titles after this season with that current roster. Battier and Ray are gone after this season. Lewis is a bum and the rest of their roster hardly plays any minutes. Only exceptions are Norris, Birdman and UD (I think). I think they have to shake things up next season. They need a C also.

They don't. They won back-to-back titles without one.

There's no reason for them to accept a pay cut even if faced with LeBron threatening to walk. Out of the 3 of them, LeBron is the one with championship ring total hanging over his head. 6 is the number and if they 3Peat he's only halfway there. Whereas on the flip side anything after this point would be a cherry on top for Wade & Bosh. Only guard with more rings than Wade from this era would be Kobe and only TD has Bosh beat for bigs. So while winning championships is great and all, I don't see it as the top factor this go around for those 2 as it was back in 2010.

This is a very interesting point. I've been adamant in saying that if Wade doesnt opt out and resign then hes basically slapping LeBron in the face, but you're right why should dude even care?

Wade is gonna have to take a huge paycut. He's being paid based on 82 games when actually playing just over half of that, and every year his knee will get worse and worse.

Yeah last year's Finals could have ended totally different, if not for Ray. A good C would not hurt and would make them a lot better, at least I think so.

Good points. If this is what it comes down to, LBJ should be on his way out of MIA. No sense in staying somewhere where your teammates don't want to win as bad as you.

Exactly, they are made men, and took a paycut when they were still in their prime. Wade for sure knows he's not getting another payday, Bosh may get something similar, but not $20 mil more than likely.

I always said that LBJ would go back to CLE but I don't think he's going back next year. He wants to win now!! Assuming MIA beat IND this series, he will have made 4 straight Finals appearances. I doubt he wants to go to a team that may or may not be a contender in a few years. Obviously him going back to CLE and put them in the playoffs but I'm not to sure about the Finals. He would be around a young team with no playoff experience and a new head coach. I just don't see him willing to go to a team that is rebuilding.

If Dirk left Dallas Cuban would've probably said some Nazi **** :lol

Gilbert was an idiot, but so was Bron with the "decision"

both were wrong. both apologized. time heals all. it's over with.

:lol at Cuban potentially calling Dirk a Nazi

dude...seriously...regardless of the offensive nature...all jokes aside...if cuban called dirk a nazi....i'd laugh my *** off. View media item 982628

I don't think that's the case at all, they can say hey, you didn't win anything before you teamed up with us. They've sacrificed some of their individual goals and greatness for the betterment of the team. As last night proved and countless other games and series that have come with these titles for Miami, as great as Bron is, he can't do it by himself. Hence, neanderthals like Barkley and others on here saying he doesn't have enough help. They've already won, it'd be another thing if they were still trying to.

I'm guilty of saying this too sometimes. It just seems like you never know when Wade is going to show up and Bosh has always been hit or miss with me.

Sooooo, Dave Joerger has permission to meet with the Twolves for their coaching vacancy. Joerger doesn't want to be here anymore and the front office doesn't want to pay him to be here anymore.

Maybe those Thibs and Calipari rumors are true. :lol

The Wolves’ coaching search has a late entry, and probably a frontrunner at that:
The Wolves have been given permission to talk to Memphis coach Dave Joerger and will probably do so by the end of the week, according to a league source.

Bottom line, according to the source: Joerger wants out and Grizzlies ownership wants him out, but Joerger doesn’t want to leave the rest of his multi-year contract on the table and the team doesn’t want to pay him off.

Wade hasn't sacrificed a thing. He's helped LeBron and they don't win without him, but LeBron has added years to his career. And of course, he won a grand total of 4 playoff games in the 4 years prior to the decision.

Bosh actually sacrificed numbers and a role. Wade? Eh. He'd be dead by now if he had to maintain his 2009/2010 workload with nothing to show for it.

I LOVE how people talk about Bron and Gilbert. Rich Paul said next to Gilbert for a couple games this year. Maverick Carter in the same row.

It's behind them.

Rich Paul only cool with em cause he has clients on the damn team.

They asked Bron about it recently and he gave Gilbert that offhand shade, bottom line is why would you go with a guy who disrespected you and is a terrible owner over Arison?

Just admit that it doesn't make much sense.

Also if Bosh leaves MIA, Love would go there over CLE in a heartbeat.

Just cause you have the #1 pick doesn't mean you're not still a rebuilding project with no coach and bad ownership.
