i like IT2 too but at that point you gotta get non-offensive minded players to round out the starting line up.

This is bs I wanted Randle more than Gordon, Vonleh and Smart. Just cuz P & CP don't like a player doesn't mean they speak for anyone.
Randle is a ******* stud and is gunna be a beast for us. If you told me last year we'd get Randle there would be no way I believed you.

He was the best choice given our position but nobody was trying to tank for dude, he was the consolation prize.

It's funny because that was an actual phrase used by people before the season. Randle was consensus top 3 before the year started last year (along with Wiggins + Parker). Embiid was the one who came out of nowhere

Even if we do strike on these FAs, Mitch did work and def got the entire L on high alert this offseason. Who knows, maybe even planted the seeds that Randles foot was bad predraft? I hope the redemption season comes swiftly and smashes the entire league!

SoHi is right, coming into the year, Randle was #3 overall potential. WE didn't want him initially because he played Love's position.
My two preferred choices, Gordon or Vonleh might have been able to slide over. Gordon to SF, Vonleh to C. Not a guarantee it would have worked out, but possible.
My two also have higher ceilings, in my opinion, but that is not a knock on Randle. Randle would have been the #1 pick last year, and the #2 pick the year before that. We got him at 7 because how great this class was. Hence, perfect year to tank for "anybody".
He is easily our best asset going forward. Make no mistake on that fact.

Off base by saying you didn't want him but you're listing the other two choices who you say have a higher ceiling , but I'm off base ok fam.
Again I'm not knocking Randle I'm reserving judgement and I hope he does well but you can spin it as if I'm criticizing him if you'd like, but you just confirmed what I said...you didn't want him.
