How about we come to a compromise. We pay Thibbs, NBA coaches money (same as MDA). We force him to take on Thibbs. If he won't, fire him. Then we're stuck with the polar opposite of Mike.

Offense that everyone loves, and heightens the play of point guards, and role players.
Defense that everyone can get behind.

Compromise. We all happy.

Just rank current head coaches up to MDA for all parties involved and then we can end this conversation/ debate/ **** show
McDermott
:lol

How about we come to a compromise. Pretty interesting reading Mamba's thoughts on OKC in the NBA thread.

Very, interesting stuff........

Let Mamba live CP.
He can't even post thoughts in the nba thread without catching backlash from you here :lol :{

Take a break until the nfl draft man. Just relax your damn mind. No need to instigate everyday :lol

I'm relaxed as can be.

I just found it hilarious to read him making excuses for OKC, while bashing the Suns with damn near exact same cheap *** owner circumstances.

But hey, blame the ******* coach for all that. :lol :lol :lol

Like L2B already pointed out, we all have inconsistencies in our arguments.

Me, and you.

Your momma, and your cousin, too.

that doesnt make it okay

if you are talking nonsense i will point it out, if i am than hopefully someone else will point it out

That's what I'm sayin.

I can understand if you have a convo a year ago, and then take a different look/stance at it.

We spent all day yesterday talkin this subject. We typed 10,000 words together.

3 hours later you go in and take the exact opposite approach in another thread? :\

Maybe in 6-7 years I'll have to go dig up some OKC's owner was a cheap *** for him too cuz he'll forget or something. :lol

Aaaaand you do the exact same thing, talking one way on one topic and applying a completely different mindset to another topic.

And it gets pointed out to you.

And you argue it.

Same to you, manup.

And me.

NOBODY on here has a completely consistent argument... on ANYTHING we discuss.

And for me, focusing on the inconsistencies of a person's argument is not actually discussing the topic, it's not attempting to understand what they're saying.

"No, I understand. It's just stupid."

Right?

Right.

"Why can't everyone just agree w/ me?"

Well, mostly because you're not a coach, GM, owner, president, or anything similar. And neither is the other person you're arguing w/. So operating with the understanding that neither of y'all REALLY apply what you're suggesting makes understanding each other a lot easier.

But we got a buncha armchair GMs on here that HONESTLY AND TRULY believe they know what time it is and have no inconsistencies in their presentations.

understanding different ideas > searching for inconisistencies

I switch sides of an argument, in the same day? Can you think of one as an example? I'm drawing a blank.

NOBODY on here has a completely consistent argument... on ANYTHING we discuss.

I'm not following.

Okay, I will then.

You said Carlos Boozer was a viable offensive option in crunch time during a playoff run for the Bulls. You insinuated that if Boozer got the ball more, or in a "better way," the Bulls would be fine offensively, or better. You blame Boozer's inability to do anything worth while on Thibs.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls are currently getting ready to amnesty Boozer.

Management is getting rid of him, but you, seamanup, state that he is a valuable offensive player that the Bulls could of used better.

Again. Management is about the amnesty him. But you, say he was underused and is more than capable of carrying the load in crunch time because of his regular season field goal percentage, which the team obviously cares so much about right now.

Did I mention he's about to be amnestied?
You asked for it, peace.

Ummm... to make mention of it.

So people are aware... that... they have inconsistent arguments, too.

Sooo... people can move forward with the knowledge that inconsistencies abound.

Realizing your own imperfections makes others' more tolerable, especially when realizing that you share the same imperfections.
