2014 NBA Draft Thread

If Derrick Rose is a bust...so are Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, Tracy McGrady, Brandon Roy, Yao Ming, list goes on.

Derrick Rose is someone who came in and played at an elite level before injuries prevented him from doing so.
I completely agree, but I feel there are 2 tiers. Penny, Tracy, Brandon and Yao had years of success then a crippling injury just completely took them out. Whereas, Brandon, Grant, and Rose kept having setback injuries that hindered them from playing for extended periods of time.

Whats different about Rose? His initial injury was more than a setback. It wasn't a nagging series of injuries like T-Mac's back or Yao's foot, knee, etc.

He pretty much tore up EVERYTHING in his knee at the same time in 2012. That was the one injury that forever changed the course of his career. Alot of those guys played through their nagging injuries. It's not possible for Derrick Rose to play through what happened to him.

Stop ******* talking about all these past All-Stars that aren't busts and had injury problems. This has nothing to do with the damn 2014 NBA Draft. Take that **** to the NBA Season Thread.

If Brett Brown doesn't think Jabari fits with what he wants to do I would gladly take the 5th pick and next year's first from Utah for him. Then take Vonleh and Harris/Stauskas/McDermott at 10. Utah ain't making the playoffs out West next year with or without Jabari. Could be another top 5 pick next year.

Sixers can solidify their PG-SF for the next 5-7 years with the right picks. Get a cheap veteran PF now, then go for a big PF in 2015 free agency.

It would probably be a future 1st round pick with protections because they're only moving up 2 spots.

Did you watch kansas games? They had wiggins looking like a role playller while swinging the ball on the perimeter so they could get it to embiid in the post.
andrew wiggins a role player so they can get joel embiid the ball? andrew wiggins had 250 more field goal attempts

Wiggins also played damn near double the amount of total minutes Joel did. Wiggins was at 1148 compared to Joel's 647.

From everything I'm ready and listening to, it really seems like the Kings will trade #8 unless someone falls down the draft.
