The Cavaliers' interest in Timberwolves star Kevin Love has been known for some time, but they wouldn't be willing to trade for him without an assurance that he would stay in Cleveland beyond next season.

However, a report from ESPN says that if the Cavs could land LeBron James in free agency, Love would "one-hundred percent" sign a contract extension.

Source who spoke with KLove says he would definitely "100 pct" stay in Cleveland longterm if LeBron is there

Perhaps now the Cavs and Wolves will revisit potential trade talks.

Reported for citing Chris Broussard

Some of You guys think players shouldn't be paid on past performance. A guy like wade may have two seasons left in him. He is gonna have aches and pains and medical bills the rest of his life. Why? Not because he's washed now but because he used to be a vicious beast. Seriously do your homework on this dude. You think russ is bad, wade was banging on cats right and left and they are the same height. There's a reason he got that offer in the first place and I wouldn't find fault with him if he decides to opt in

Eric Bledsoe and P.J. Tucker received qualifying offers from Phoenix. They're now restricted FAs, per USA Today.

Okaro White will play with Memphis' summer league team, per Alex Kennedy.

Opting in for $40mil is getting paid for his past performance.

Do it Wade, you've earned that money. Dade county will love you for it.

Bledsoe will get a max offer sheet. Wonder if Phoenix matches though.I think someone will offer PJ too, but much smaller. Great defender, becoming a better shooter. He's a good fit in Phoenix

lmaoooo dead at the campaign for wade to opt in hahahahaha. fans hate the heat hahahaha

Be honest, how many of you want Wade to opt in because it'll make things more difficult for Miami in the future?

I'm not going to sit here and act like its not part of it, but I was in support of the Kobe contract too. Wade deserves "thank you" money
