size dont eem matter. getting cut dont eem matter. there's a different level of skill nba players have vs regular dudes.
Ha This is at the Lorenzo. I hoop here all the time. My Barber L used to stay in the lorenzo. Had Ty Lawson, KD, Tyreke, and a bunch of other cats hooping in here

KD might have a hard time leaving OKC and moving on now.

That 12pt 3rd quarter where they were doing all that sulking and finger pointing might replay in their heads all Summer break

Man I saw a clip over the weekend of KD with the Sonics and he has his hair cut like Doc Rivers keeps his.

Super short but not bald with a crisp line. I looked every where for the pic and couldn't find it but it looked clean

Doc got that pencil shapeup. No hair on but somehow he got a lineup. :lol
He would fit perfect with Wall and Beal. For whatever reason his people have said he doesn't wanna play in DC.

Beal can't even play a full season and his game hasn't really developed at all the past couple years.

Wall is amazing but he's still a tier below Russ.

Not to mention, they were stupid enough to hire Scott Brooks.

Don't see any reason to go there.

KD come to DC. Play with a real PG.

I think his mom said he doesn't wanna go back because too many people back home hit him up for money and stuff and he's basically over DC because of it.

Look at who got roasted by Amin and deleted his tweet :lol

I guess this is where this post should go.......

I am getting so tired of hearing analysts and people who follow them continually talking about hero ball with the Thunder and that hero ball is what led to their demise. They have TWO OF THE TOP FOUR PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE.  Arent those two players the guys that Thunder fans WANT to take the shots?!?  I just dont get it.  These analysts are really advocating that Russ and Durant need to defer to Waiters, Roberson or Kanter?  Really?

Like I said, I am not a Thunder fan, but there is never a situation where I would rather have a Thunder role playe launch a 3 than have Durant or Westbrook do it.  Its not like they have JJ Redick camped behind the line open and KD or RW refuse to pass it to him.

I guess I am just the crazy one who would prefer my superstars take the shots opposed to players like Randy Foye and Dion Waiters.

Bottom line, this idea that "hero ball" was the downfall of OKC is ridiculous.  Guess who else played "hero ball" during the WCF?  Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.  Hero ball seems to work just fine if your superstars are making their shots.

It's more about the fact that it is inefficient way to play as it's predictable, the defense knows the ball isn't going anywhere else so they just double, triple, and clog the paint. No problem with WB and KD shooting those shots, it's just the lazy way of getting into it with 1-3 (often KD is the 4 in closing lineups but either way) pick and roll on 1 side cleared, or a small pin down to get him the ball in the midpost and iso with everyone else just standing around watching. Works some in regular season against regular teams, in the playoffs and particularly when that individual defender is Iguodala and he has help because nobody's guarding Dre and IBaka and whoever else and by the time they even get into it, shotclock is usually short, isn't the most efficient way to play compared to the player moving, ball moving style that gets them leads. It's why they blow leads and has been a problem going back to even the Scott Brooks era.

And fwiw, Westbrook shouldn't shoot so many 3s. If he's going to, he should just regular shot it and not try to flop a foul every time.

100% true

Okc was playing hero ball when they were up 3-1

They lost because of fundamental errors with effort, fatigue, and gsw catching fire from the 3pt line while they got extremely cold.

Basically steph and klay went ballistic and okc did some things to aid in that happening. But not hero ball.

Every team plays "hero" ball down the stretch to a degree
